it starts a bit faster if you put the throttle down even when its not on, it still releases gas into the motor, but if you do it too much gas will leak

At 14 I would be looking at a CRF150R if you are short or CRF250R if you are tall.

@ 14 and 5.6 I would be leaning to a 250.

Dont be put of by the number 250...it is raced in the 125 class.

if its been sittin for awhile it could have bad gas, did u drain the gas out of the carb before u let it sit? the carbs might be gunked up. also could be flooded. When u start a 4 stroke be4 u kick it, give 2 twists on the throttle to let some fuel in the carbs than kick it while off the throttle. giving gas on 4 strokes floods them too quick sometimes, im a bike mechanic and racer, experienced a lot in my days, good luck man
