I did this in my 99' during the floods last spring. My brake system took on some water and I HAD to replace ALLof the mechanical components in the brake system. The drivetrain is unstoppable however. Just sayin

hey, love your jeep, i just got one. you just got the standard exhaust on that? surely it would stall if the exhaust went under?

Not a chance, the motor has enough compression to keep the water out. I've had my 4.3 V6 Blazers underwater for up to 2 hours on one occasion, just keep it running and it definitely won't stall or anything.
