is there any other way to rotate the camera because on my mac the middle mouse button is set as a shortcut of widgets if you cant change the rotate then could someone tell me a way to disable the short cut ty :)

Wings 3d is a good program, but i still prefer 3ds max better.

how do u save the 3d models and what to?

@Theclienthelper go up to the file menu and choose export. Pick which file type you want to save as. .Objs, .3DS and .X are common file types. 3ds max will load in .3Ds and .Objs without a problem, maya will load .3ds, .obj and also .fbx without problem. Many other modeling apps load these model types as well.

@Theclienthelper go to window > outliner, in here you have the default material. Duplicate the default material by right clicking it and selecting duplicate. This will give you a new material. Use the rightclick menu to adjust the settings of this material such as the colour, specularity, and name. Select objects or faces and then in the outliner right click the desired material and select Apply. The material will now be applied to your selection. The _hole_ material is used for creating holes.

In preferences there are options to change the control layouts for those with other types of mice.

Wings has two and one button mouse modes which allow you to use keyboard keys+clicking in place of the middle and right mouse buttons.

I find it helpful to use the 3dsmax style camera mode so you aren't restricted to a circular motion.

Thank you for taking the time to put this video together. As a beginner I found it helpful. I have been trying to follow the manual but I find that being able to see something is a better way for me to learn. Also it is nice to know that it is here for future reference.

1 question u can move ur object with ure mouse i cant u have to press y x or z how to move it with ur screen rotate and etc.

press 'Scroll' in the mouse to rotate the screen, and click when the desired position.

Very nice video, I have learned most of these things just by messing around with the program but this would've been very helpful if I looked at it originally.
