  • Well, that was pretty pointless. I question the stats used, how does one go about measuring how much fuel is spilled? And they didn't show jack on diesel mowers other than a company name. If fuel stations don't have bio, where do you expect people to purchase the stuff from? Is using a food crop for fuel a wise idea?

  • Dittos. What brought up red flags for me were "Sierra Club", "Global Warming Expert", and "Environmental Protection Agency".

Didn't take me long to figure out where this vid was heading.

  • This isn't a solution. It is a thinly veiled commercial for key board culture and a guy selling lawn mowers. The content is idiotic.

The idea that everyone should go out and buy a lawnmower that runs on peanut oil is laughable. This wont help the environment one bit. This video is a little short on science and commonsense.

  • This isn't a solution, it is a step, a very small step.

  • Did you see the statistics in this movie? Every step towards sustainability is a good step. Each person can make a difference and a group of people can create a social movement which can be the solution. I'm thankful for Corbett for helping get solutions out into the world.

  • I said it was a step. I am just making sure it is known that this is not the or a solution because there is no one solution to environmental problems.

  • This is Just Idiotic. Use electric lawnmowers. Bio fuels do more harm than good. Think about it- Cut down forests - clear land and plant food to be turned into fuel - also by food that poor people would have eaten and then ask gov for subsidy - turn food into fuel and burn in dirty lawnmower.

  • Electric mowers have many virtues. I use one on my lawn. However, there are many applications for which an electric mower is impractical. The best alternative in such a situation is to avoid fossil fuels and help solve a waste problem.

  • There is not enough recoverable cooking oil to make any difference. Rainforests are being cut down and food crops diverted to make bio fuels. This all about feel good and get tax breaks or subsidies.

  • We have to do something and moving towards sustainable mindsets and habits is moving in the right direction. Technology is enhancing quickly so moving away from fossil fuels to other alternative energies which we know about and have yet to discover is really a great idea. Keep up the good work Corbett.

  • This video shows some shocking numbers on air pollution and then shows solutions.
