I always remember this show being on t.v. when i was a kid. My parents used to watch it all the time. I always remember that this song and this show always made me feel so warm and wanted. Now whenever I hear this song i get sad because i miss my childhood. But i remember one time someone told me that I need to find peace in my past so I can move on to the present and future. The fictional Bar Cheers was established in 1885 as printed on the Cheers sign. The people in the old pictures resemble characters from the Cheers cast and kind of gives the viewers a retrospect of the bar in the old days. Not that complicated.

@SheepNorway i'm a huge fan of both The Office and Modern Family, but it's no question that Cheers is one of, if not the best sitcom of all time. The dialogue is hilarious and the people have genuine storylines. i'm not saying that The Office and Modern Family don't have that (Parks and Recs is hilarious too btw, it's funnier than the new Office episodes) but Cheers is a lot better

lol when i was a young kid in the late 80s i remember this show on tv my parents would watch it + i live in a small mountain town but we had a cheers that looked like this so when my mother and i would walk into town i would always try and peek in the windows of cheers to try and see the crew from tv :) ahhhhhh the good old days

Frasier did not com untill 1984 but his name did not com untill 1986. Woody did not com untill 1985 after Coach died. Rebeca Did not com untill 1987 after Diane Left the Show. and the same for Lilith Frasier's x wife but she left in 1992 but her name did not com untill 1991

this was probebley from the 1983-1984 season. in the dabut season from 1982 you wold not seen cliffs name you wold onley see it at the closing extro. Frasier did not com untill 1984 but his name did not com untill 1986. Woody did not com untill 1985 after Coach died. Rebeca Did not com untill 1987 after Diane Left the Show. and the same for Lilith Frasier's x wife but she left in 1992 but her name did not com untill 1991

The real bar in Boston that Cheers was based on is way overrated, but this show is not. Cheers was awesome. Thank you for posting this.
