@TheModdy I always sided with the idea (early in their incarnation) that they were a punk "super band", modeled after 70's bands that were made up of key members of earlier famous bands. Saw them a few times, best was Palo Alto at "The Keystone" in 1983.

These guys are awesome! I saw them open for The Kinks in March '82 in Texas and they opened with this. They blew The Kinks away!
