In this video, it's proof that the game is not realistic when it handles corners. PGR4 is great, don't get me wrong, but resolving corners in the game is hideous.

Ah, I see. 150 around that downtown track is phenominal then. I guess "taking corners" is a very complex and relative term. You're right it can road-hold. It has loads of grip, but it's not very poised and balanced, and the placement of the driver in the car make it quite tricky to control compared to the 430 that was also on the track.

The stunt drivers, and crew who commentate know suprizingly little about cars.

"The McLaren does 150mph" try around 207mph. And by the way it's not the best around corners.

Ferrari would need more contundent cars , like the Enzo , to beat the SLR McLaren , and not too easy.The SLR beats the 599 GTB.Compare the SLR with the F430, is simply wrong.If you don´t believe me, only wacth the price of the SLR,and later see the price of the F430.

The price of a car means nothing to me when comparing performance. Take, for instance the Veyron and compare it's laptimes on both the Nurburgring and the Top Gear test track (yes I know the TG TT isn't a good performance bar) and look at cars a fraction of the cost pulling off better times. Maybe the SLR can pull off better laptimes than a F430, but I'd still take the F430 for it's passion. I've not driven a Ferrari, but I have spent time in the SLR and although it's a beast I was left wanting.

Yes, you´re right.The price of a car means nothing when comparing performance,but in this video,the SLR McLaren beat the F430 in performance.626 VS 493.I only think the 599 GTB it´s more realist. For beauty and passion,it´s a matter of taste.But Ferrari always is the best in passion. For me in this comparison, The SLR is the best, but Ferrari is something brilliant.
