Matchmoving with boujou 4 and 3D Max 8

Something i forgot before doing the masking or even the color correction in your match moving software YOU NEED TO CHECK FOR LENS DISTORTION this is really important since this will straight your plate. Once all this is done proceed to do the 2dtracking which is what the software do first and then the camera solve will follow. Check the perspective view to make sure the point clouds make sense within the 3d environment and then place test objects to see if they stick to your plate.

When it comes to matchmoving or 3 d tracking there a few steps that need to be done before the tracking. Analyze your footage first, color corrected if needed, high contrast images works better or simply do the tracking in whatever channel works better, r g or b. you can do this withinn the matchmoving software or in a diferent app ie: afx, FCp etc. there is moving object within your footage that does not need tracking, mask it if needed

The same thing was happening all the time to me in the beggining, when I discovered that the problem was from my raw footage, it hasn't enought quality to matchmove... try a better quality footage and i really believe you will see improvements

truely i dont know, i got mine because my dad gave it to me on my birthdays. i only know that he bought it in USA, but you can google boujou, and will appear many results with sites where you can buy it

@Farid9090 i downloaded mine for free search on youtube "boujou for free download" and then follow on from there i also got adobe after affects, adobe photoshop etc this way
