  • You go Meschiya Lake! Wonderful music indeed.

  • Wonderful, relaxed feeling; ne separation between band and audience. They're not trying to prove anything, just doing it. I notice a couple of other cornet /trumpets besides the lead player. They must have been invited to sit in. Beautiful music. I gotta do this one with my brass band.

  • It's no coincidence this music was big

during our LAST Great Depression, and

its making a comeback for THIS ONE!

    Just nothin' like THE BLUES!

  • oh. wow. shockingly good this!

  • dayum, you guys are awesome.

And Jason gives us Raisins some hope out here in the 559.

  • anyone know where i can purchase a cd

  • That's Alynda. She's also in Why Are We Building Such A Big Ship? and she has her own band, Hurray for the Riff Raff. Check them out! And yes, the redhead is Meschiya Lake.

  • I had the opportunity to hear this band perform last weekend. It was quite awesome to see them in person! Now...I believe the redheadede young lady singing is Meshiya Lake, but does anyone know the name of the banjo player that was singing? She's the one I got to hear sing last weekend. Thanks!

  • you guys are curing my depression via the interweb. excellent shit. thank you.

  • thanks for keeping great music alive. I gotta get back down to new orleans and get some real inspiration from the great music that fills the air down there.
