How true: Most so-called 'singers' these days sound the same. All clones. And, they are usually terrible! Our oldies from the 50s and early 60s are the best. The huge variety of styles and voices! Wow, those WERE the days! Thanks! Len-G
Sadly, NO! Needed the money some years ago, and my large collection of 45s and LPs was sold for a tiny fraction of its worth! C'est la vie! YouTube is giving me and others some cherished mem'ries, both known and new! Len-G
One of my brothers had basically what I've been posting, mainly same records, same style music, etc. I had many doubles that I gave him. He sold it all about 7 years ago for only $1,500. He could have made that with just a small hand full, I still want to shoot him. He even had a copy of, "Donna Prima - Dion My Dion" on JAMIE, I sold mine on ebay last year for $450, just one record. He had some rare stuff, I don't know what he was thinking?
Your bro's story is akin to mine! My huge collection was let go for close to $2,000. But, one LP: Cathy Jean & Roomates was sold for $500! Remember, when the need of $money$ is bugging us, we tend to be desperate and foolish! Lenny
OH YES, I know! I sold some nice records in the last 10 years on ebay! At times I caught the wrong crowd at the wrong time, it felt like I gave them away! I once 250,000 records, I gave them away to convert my cellar into bedrooms, I had to get rid of them, no doowop though!!!!! We all had to do what we had too, it's a part of life!
It's really amazing! My wife watches Idol all the time. I keep telling her, when a Roy Orbison, Lou Christie, Dion, Del Shannon, Connie Francis, etc. come on, call me! Since the show started, she's never called me, LOL! Just once, I would love to hear a new voice, one that stands out. You have to admit, if you heard a new song for the very 1st time from one of the above I named, you'd know exactly who it was. Nowadays they all sound the same. Even a new Rod Stewart, different voice, something!
This track is so great we decided to record our own version. Would love some feedback have a listen :-)

What year did this record come out? Sounds like it was regional, what region/where was the group out of?
Not a bad record and sounds typical for time period it (I think) it came out of. I would have purchased it.
Thanks for posting it as it was the first time I heard it.

If you look at label, one of the writers is Mike Lewis. He was a Concord.
