@FunkyMKW Congrats! I am only looking for a few pieces for my collection. They have done a very nice job with the Hot Ones. Thanks for visiting my Channel!
@racegrooves Thanks! Yes, they did an amazing job! I really love the Spoiler Sport. (: Anytime, your videos helped me to learn about collecting HW cars. (:
@ferrarifan9102 That is interesting. South Texas Diecast shows the first one as a Hot Ones release but the package. Thanks! Funny you should mention the Fat Fendered 40. I just uploaded a video with a HTF FF40 =)
@JoshTheCollectorGuy I don't see the Combat hanging around anywhere anymore nor the '57 Chevy but I do see the white Camaro. I have bought a few more since then. I think three Camaros and the green one that is shown on the card.
Im considering the green indy racer known as the El Rey Special, especially since I have one from the old days. Still, these are cool considering I missed out on some of these models many years ago.
Agreed Mark. I don't buy "every-single" Hotwheels that's released. Thanks for the heads-up on these cool-looking wheels. Had to work (OT) today, so my toy-run will have to wait til' tomorrow.
@DaddyIvo I found the Hot Ones on the way to work, did 2 hours of O/T, came home and did the narration, and went to bed! No time for any extra information like comparing these Hot Ones for original Hot Ones. That will have to wait for another video if I have the time! Don't forget to look for the "red-letters on the tires" chase pieces =)
To be honest, i am not too fond of them. I do not like the castings so far, and the card design is also outdated. Might have worked in the 80s but we are not already in the 10s :)
@hossi74 It is a little bit of a tough pill to swallow when it wasn't too long ago when these models were part of the basic lineup. I had more to say but I wanted to get this up quickly so people could get a heads-up to start looking for them. I have more to say but I needed to get to bed!
@emccurnin I wish you luck! As far as I know, I am the first person to report them being available at retail. I didn't see anybody on any messageboard finding them either. They have only been available from online retailers/dealers.
@123456hotwheels I bout the Combat Medic, '57 Chevy, and the 70's Van. I will surely be buying models from future releases because there will be brand new tools and some classics that haven't been seen for awhile.
@Lionferrari777 Chase pieces is supposed to mean that the ones with the red-letter tires will be produced in smaller quantities than the other releases.
Sweet I hope to find some, I used to have a '57 Chevy with Hot Ones wheels, but it was a lil newer, not quite as "retro" would be cool to add this one to my collection
@Trikenut012 The '57 Chevy is a classic model! It was one of the three that I purchased. I will do another video possibly over the weekend with more jibber jabber =)
There is soo meany cars i need to look for, there coming out with soo meany models i like, can't wait to see the packin pacer with the new tool ! but hopefully those cars will be sold in canada !
@MegaAwsomeStudios There are a lot of cars released every month. That's why it is important to have focus. If you can afford and if you desire them all, more power to you! I hop you get them in Canada too. I will be looking forward to some of the models like the Packin' Pacer too!
@henryblazer20 You're welcome - good luck in finding a chase! That's why I'm letting you guys know so hopefully you have the knowledge to know what to look for =)
@henryblazer20 Theses models were very nicely done! As with most releases, I will buy some for the pile but most likely, not all of them. Out of these original eight, I bought three. The '57 Chevy, the 70's Van and the Combat Medic.
@matchboxfireEMS I'm not buying every release. Out of these original eight, I bought three. The '57 Chevy, the 70's Van and the Combat Medic. I look forward to the future releases though because there will be some brand new releases and some re-issues of some classic models!
Absolutely my favorite HW series in 2011!!! Almost got all 50!
