Seán O'Se became the voice of O Riada's ensemble, which also included Paddy Moloney and other musicians who soon afterward formed the Chieftains, moving Irish music onto the world stage. O'Se's renditions of classic ballads like Carrickfergus are known and loved throughout Ireland and today he continues an active schedule of performing and recording. He is an Irish treasure!
Super song about a truly remarkable dog! I'm English but being an avid greyhound fan this is making me swell with pride!! Look out for my Irish Derby posts I am putting on now!
