I wish I remembered megaman 5 but sadly i think after 3 i just got into SNES or something. I'm sure that megaman 4 and 5 were great but how many masterpieces can each of us really handle???
Regardless, this music is good for the stage it's in. I, personally, had some trouble with the falling crystals as well. Like many of the enemies and obstacles in MM5, it has an unorthodox pattern. Rather than timing the crystals like I tried to do at first, you just have to jump soon after one falls, before another one can fall.
I swear imma remix the doodoo outa this track but really tho the stage is easy except the big pink robot at the end is hard if you actualy try to kill him and dont just slide under him and go to the door....the crystals lol cmon man you just jump and dont look back!!
Crystal Man's tune sounds dreary and atmospheric and mysterious and I think it fits the prehistoric cave with the falling jewels perfectly
Charge Man's tune right from the start is a very quick pace, suggesting some kind of hurry. That fits the fast-moving locomotive you are on top of very well I think. Almost makes me imagine the steam engine whistle coming any second now. Also a very upbeat, perky tune and I don't see it fitting in with the caves.
Crystal Man is on the meth again.

Mega Man : What's my future Crystal Man?

I think that long note is actually pretty fitting, given that the stage it's has a rather unusual structure, aleast to me..
Oh yeah those falling crystals were a bitch too xD.

That long note at 0:20 sound unusual to me.

What I remember about his stage was that it was like the hardest one that I've done, without that special equipment you get in the game ofc.
Gorzak 2 years ago 4
His stage always reminded me of those cruddy 70's alien-fantasy movies wih cruddy special effects. Also, one of my favorite themes :D

Also, I thnk they should've redesigned him for the Battle Network Games

I actually liked his move because it killed Napalm Man. It broke apart and everything.

Ah, this is my favorite. It's so cool. Reminds me of one of those Japanese transforming sequences.

Crystal man's theme makes me think of an on-stage performance by Indian belly dancers for some reason.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Crystal man stage music and the Charge man stage music should be switched?
The Charge man stage music sound like a prehistoric cave, and the upper notes sound like crystals.
The Crystal man stage music sound as if the music is "moving" or chugging like a train - a subway comes to mind.

This music sounds like a cave, but I personally think Charge Man's music will do well here as well.
truckie132 3 years ago
agh this music reminds me of one thing...falling jewels out of the silos!!!! infuriating.
You couldn't time the damn things as there was no pattern, you just had to jump and hope to get lucky.
Yes, tune is very hypnotic, MM5 has very underrated music as I think almost all their tracks are beautiful sounding, Wave Man's is my fav though
billny33 3 years ago
I wonder why nobody remember Crystal Man's stage that shit was actually pretty challenging.
dryzen 3 years ago
Of course, Crystal Man is a product of Da Beer's lesser known corporate logo:
"Diamonds are forever, but attaching a blaster and legs to one is just fucking cool."

This is one of my favorite Megaman songs ever. Thanks for putting it up.
NerdilyDone 3 years ago
For some reason, this song reminds of the boss music.
scratch799 3 years ago
that music is almost hypnotic. i love hearing it while i stare at the scenery in that level.

if u put geminiman's theme together wit this theme they seem to combine
Ryukena95 3 years ago 3
Someone should do a mix of those two.
RemingtonHand 3 years ago 4
ya they should!
Ryukena95 3 years ago 2
There's a remix of Geminiman's music at OCRemix, but there's not a Crystalman remix unfortunately.
IshidaTheQuincy 3 years ago
Heck, there's only one MM5 mix there, I think of the opening theme.
