  • T2i is WAYYYY BETER

  • im gettin this camera 4 my channel i owe it to my subscribers.

  • Im getting one for Christmas, I'm excited!!

  • nice test, we gonna buy this cam for our channel too :)

  • if i had a dollar for pixel i would have about 18 million =cmos 18mp

  • Hey man, how can i do to make the recording longer than 7 seconds?... I have an 8g sd memory

  • @Kokoise You have to make sure you have at least like a class 6 or higher memory card

  • what lens were you using with the t2i?

  • i just got the canon rebel t2i! its so cool. its my first nice camera

  • SoldierKnowsBest you are rich right?

  • Should I get a boom mic with it?

  • waited for this video to load in 1080p and then i remembered my monitor only does 720p :(.......Can't wait for my MBA lol

  • dude looks like a broke ass dwight howard

  • @DOTRAT69 LOL

  • CAN YOU FOCUS ON THE T2i? for example, put something on focus and the background blur?

  • @romob96 Yes, and very well at that

  • @romob96 yes u can :3

  • @romob96 You can do that with every DSLR camera(:

  • what nice teeth you have!

  • i saw this camera today and OH MY GOD IM IN LOVE! it is the most beautiful camera i have seen XO im so trading in my old one, i want this canon so bad XD the price is going to make me have to save up, but its so worth it, i didnt want to leave the store when i was playing with it! but it would of been embarassing to be kicked out cuz i didnt want to let go of it XD

  • can i have this camera

  • @RicoChicoTV i guess you can, you just need to buy it....

  • awesome comparison job. Thanks a million !

  • how is the 18-55 lens i heard its shitty? and does this camera come with the picture software for your computer? well a mac computer?

  • @crazycutie38 ill answer for him no it does not come with any programs but its compatible with leopard (mac) windows and linux you just need to connect it via usb or using the sd card and the 18-55 lens isnt bad but its not good either its standard i suggest just buying the body saving you atleast $100 which you can add to buy a better lense which i did the lens actually matters on what your planning to shoot

  • thanks alot for responding

  • i am still thinking should i get t1i or t2i or t3i regarding still photos and video quality what is your suggestion,,money versa is another matter?now they are selling t1i for 700 $ and t2i for 800 but t3i for 1000 $.please advice.

another question, does t1i comes with remote or not?

and why angle montor is goos for videography>?can it be done through screen?

  • @souniama1 T2i surely is the best bang for your buck. Unless you're going to be doing some very advanced work, the T3i is basically $200 more for a flip out screen. I'd say get the T2i or T1i and save up for the lenses. Body doesn't really matter.

  • Would you recommend this or the canon 7d for shooting mostly sketch comedy, and some action sequences with a price range of 2-2.5k

  • Would you recommend this or the canon 7d for shooting mostly sketch comedy, and some action sequences with a price range of 2-2.5k

  • soldierknowsbest??? more like SoujaBoyKnowsBest XD

  • This was great!

  • Hey bud! Nice vid.... is it possible to use the EOS Rebel T2i as a web cam ?

    Thanks

  • theres also the softwares which help us a lot, in this video DONNASIL BRASIL made with canon t2i hd, with super iso exposure of 1300 (to weak light at that place) there was a lot lot of grain and noise. So I used Vegas 10 pro with the neat video pluggin and check it out! Very smooth! Luckly I could use the footage!

  • nice work... lol i never find the right time to use my t2i for video.. but i hope i find some soon cuz the quality you showed is pretty good, i won't lie lol

  • just out of curiosity, how fast is your internet speed?

  • the hf10 looks greener and softer

  • i have my self an EOS Rebel T2i but... the forces on the lens is not as great is see on yours i got the lens EF70-300mm, im using the EF-S 18-55mm and i want it to forced like your is in this video which i cant be able to do, also do you think this would be good for out door video camera?

im a starting to get the hang of this pro. cameras and im still have hard time. =[

  • is it hd though? the canon t2i?

  • i got a really good question. thanks

  • Thnx for vid bro!! You have sold me on the Canon t2i!!

  • So you can stream with this camera too??? Or did you record it?

  • The video quality of the t2i looks pretty good. I have a quick comparison between a couple of Canon cams as well as the iphone and flip phone. Search for:

VERSUS! Canon 5D mark 2 vs Canon HV30 vs Apple iPhone 4 vs Cisco Flip Video UltraHD 3

  • aloha from hawaii! i just got my t2i so thanks for talking about yours!

  • If I'm not mistaken the Rebel T2i is the best slr in the world at 18.02 MPX

  • @ipod3gtoucher no, but at this price, yes.

  • Thanks for the video I'm looking for a good HD camcorder I was looking at the GoPro Hero HD too since it's a lot cheaper!

  • thumbs up for him looking at the isight, then the canon, then the isight, then the canon, then the isight, then the canon.........

  • i wish i never bought my video camera

  • lmao he looks whiter with canon...

  • @swatus lmao

  • Hi, nice work! I am new to cinematography and editing. I have a question for you. what are those horizontal transparent lines that runs up the screen when viewing an HD video? are the lines called interlace lines? and how would I be able to edit my video in a way where I can get rid of those lines? thanks!

  • @kvmgotsteez I am not sure, it is either because of your monitor or graphics card. i had the same problem too. I saw fast horizontal lines, then i watched it in macbook, the quality was perfect, no lines at all... our computers are getting old :(

  • @kvmgotsteez use a de-interlace filter or export de-interlaced

  • nice compaprision .thx i m considering canon 550 and canon 7d........

  • i am interested in buying the cannon T2i, and had a question. i will be using the camera to video outdoor hunting action from a treestand. does the camera have good zooming ability when videoing animals or subjects that are 100 plus yds away? Thanks

  • Wrong Review... Video is all about 'moving'.. not still and a person talking moving his lips.. when he moved around from chair there were jitters and off focus. Infact 10fps will not have ANY difference when one is not moving.

  • epic man

    t2i looks better

  • Great camera to camera comparison. Well done and edited. I also own the T2I and a Canon Vixia HF R10. At work we have a 7D so I am very familiar with canon products. The t2i is fantastic for so many reasons I shot my nephews football game by hand from the stands and put it on here. I also love the vixia for the zoom which works unbelievably well on a secure tripod (not really great indoors with low light) cool that we can check out other peoples experience too.

  • wow what a difference.

  • Woah the canon rocks

  • Thank you so much for this comparison, great to see things side by side.

  • can Canon Rebel T2i run on a/c power or is it just Battery operated?

  • T2i is the same thing of 550d?

  • @luizluiz1992 yeah, in europe its called 550d

  • @JustThatGirI also here in philippines we called it canon 550D.

  • Yeah, T2I is great! what about the comparison of 5DII and T2i??

  • @SoldierKnowsBest: After viewing two of your video reviews on the Canon T2i, I'm very much convinced that this is a great camera to have. The video quality is really good. I just purchased it online. Now I can't wait to put it to uses.. Thanks for a great review..

  • Haha it was funny when you were comparing your typical cam to the t2i and you were mouthing random words and shrugging

  • Side by sides is a great way to see the difference. Good call and thanks for the information.

  • this was pointless of course a camera that shots in 1080p hd is gonna look better than a computer camera

  • i cant get the videos to work on my cpu. do you know what could be wrong

  • Love your Tshirt man AFFLICTION FTW!

  • u dont have to say be right back because when u edit it u only take 1 sec to leave its not like we actually have to wait for u.

  • @WillNicolini1 its called manners :)

  • @WillNicolini1 Hahaha come on... it adds to the realism level.

    Thanks dude for the review.

  • @WillNicolini1 Dont be jealous u idiot! Just cus he has more subscribers and more viewers.

  • @ahabhani1 how does that make me jealous? or an idiot? i was just stating a point for future vids... i was not making fun of him or calling him dumb, and i have one video.. so of course he has more subscribers, its not like im trying to beat him with one video

  • I been searching to buy a canon or nikon camera. But I'm in the toss up between those two. I have heard good things about nikon but recently I found the canon rebel t2i and I want to know if i'm better off getting the canon rebel t2i. it will be my first and of course i do not want to throw my money away. What do you recommend to get? i like the quality of the video with the rebel t2i? will that be the newest model from canon?

  • @vpbalmaceda I prefer the Canon eos 550d/rebel t2i to any of the competing Nikons

  • Help Please.... Because i dont have a supercomputer when I watch the vids from my t2i it lags terribly. Is there anyway I can go around this and be able to watch them without lagging besides buying another computer. or will I have to resort to going to a lower quality video?

  • @AddictedtoAviation what computer are you using?

  • @TheStoryWeLive well thanks for the q. but since then I have found a converter to change the file format and doing so allows me to watch them keeping the same quality without the lag. its called Mpeg Streamclip for anyone else having this problem.

  • @AddictedtoAviation oh i was just wondering, i have a 4g ram on an imac and it doesnt lag at all. and my video card 256MB ATI,RadeonHD2600. i wanted to know what computer you had so i can point you to some video cards and ram.

  • you sure have a lot of stuff... mind giving one to me. lol

    great comparison review though.

  • Guys. when i shoot in like 1080p with the rebel t2i, and play it from standard quicktime player on my computer. it laggs bad. and when i try to put it on youtube it takes 2 hours for a 2 minute video

  • @gypsyleeboy what class is your memory card? canon recommends using class 6 or higher

  • @ShahdKad3 i have a 10. its weird. i don't know why it would lag... on the other hand, if i play the video on the camera it's normal. its only when i put it on the computer.

  • @gypsyleeboy your computer's graphics card may be insufficient to keep up with the extra processing power needed to play HD video.

  • @gypsyleeboy I think that's pretty normal. More HQ/HD = bigger file, so that's why it takes longer to upload on youtube. As for playing on ur comp, like ohwnosrepeht said, it could just be ur comp.

  • great reviews love it. thanks.

  • very nice. thanks

  • Does it autofocus when filming, or do you have focus manually??

    Thanks for replying me!!!!!!!!

  • @gigicalifornia, you can do either way. Am a owner of a 550D/T2i, therefore I know :D

  • @DarkPro alright, thanks broh!

  • @gigicalifornia It's safe to say no, it doesn't auto focus when filming. If someone holds down the shutter button, it will make lots of noise (ruining the audio in the video) and autofocus though.

  • @pyrofortress Ok, thanks! Your right, holding down the shutterbotton is something different than real autofocus when filming. I hoped that this generation filming dslr's could do that.

  • @gigicalifornia D7000 for you. (;

  • Awesome video quality with that Canon T2i!!!!

  • Awsome video quality with that Canon T2i!!!!

  • you need to slow down man, BTW rebel SUX

  • @healthpimp except it doesnt

  • the T2 is much better quality and wider angle lense

  • nice vid thanks

  • Thanks for this. I have been on the fence for a while whether to get a DSLR for shooting my short films or a nice camcorder like the Canon HF S21 or Panny HDC-TM700.

  • for some reason it is so much easier for me to take advice from a black guy. thanks for the useful comparison, ive been looking for a comparison to traditional camcorders and this thing and the rebel wins for sure

  • @Haftinator u must be on parol

  • @Haftinator That is a really odd thing to say.

  • @Haftinator yeah, black guys kinda get to da point u wanna no

  • @Haftinator well it sounds like you have jungle fever amigo

  • for some reason it is so much easier for me to take advice from a black guy. thanks for the useful comparison

  • this is the baby 7d i love this camera better actually its much lighter to carry and has the same sensor and i can record as long as i want.

  • Does anyone know how they can use the T2i as webcam instead of the built in isight on the macbook???

  • @JuanDS1103

you cant. the censor would heat up and destroy your camera.

  • @jeffhurdphotography

does that mean you can't film with it for long periods of time?

  • @emericaenjoi23

you can deffiantly film with it, but not for extended periods of time like you would use a webam for.

  • @jeffhurdphotography mine records untill i have no more memory

  • @jeffhurdphotography

where did you hear that? my t2i can record as long as there's enough free memory. it heats up a littlebit but that's not the sensor. the processor heats up a littlebit but not much. it's normal

  • HOLY SHIT HES BLACK!?! My god the camera has amazing quality, i would have never knew untill this amazing quality

  • how bout the comparisons with the t1i?

    this video was really helpful

    thanks

  • Thanks, very helpful!

  • does anyone know how i can use my 550d as a webcam on pc?

  • @cosheldo you can't.

  • Dose anyone know the Video Format? for example (MPEG-4)

  • @NARUTOANDALAN > MOV H.264

  • @NARUTOANDALAN From the Canon, it's MOV

  • what video editing sofware did u use?

  • @savagegold He has a Mac, so from the looks of the video, iMovie.

  • how is the t2i's mic / audio?

  • @npetrie76 the built in mic is pretty good from what I've seen/heard, and it also has the ability to have an external mic plugged in.

  • Comment removed

  • @Metal94Productions yes .

the t2i can take pictures .

    god .

    he says that .

  • @Metal94Productions OBVIOUSLY!

  • How's the audio on the T2i?

  • It's beatiful!

  • how long can you record?

  • @Ro0m309 12 minutes

  • imac! :O great review btw, tks!

  • What frame rate were you using in this because it is a little strobe-like.

  • Can't wait to get this! Whoop, whoop!

  • @quinnmcguee really? can you elaborate abit more? I am selling my 7D to purchase a t2i and a lens. what do you think? is it worth staying with the 7d?

  • Best consumer digital SLR by Canon

  • Good informative review.

  • What is recording the audio in this? the isight or the camera? how good would you say the audio on the canon is?

  • lol..dude, i just LOVED your acting skills on the Canon HF10! u Rocked it :D straight to the oscars :P

  • Nice review Bro!

  • thanks for letting know to click on the hd video. I tend to forget to do that

  • thanks dude

  • The Canon Rebel T2i is awesome

  • Did he just compare a 640x480 webcam with an HD DSLR camera?

  • @jmacaldo83

He was just showing you what he usually uses (iSight) to the new Canon T2i

  • Nice. Thanks for the vid. I am going to have to get me one of these T2i's!

  • What settings on the T2i did you have when you recorded this? ISO, did you manual focus with the ring? F stop?

  • fucking crazy quality difference! Fuck i am buying one right now, Hf10 got powned by the rebel! the future of video is in DSLRs that can do HD!

  • To add to the aliasing issue: YouTube currently introduces additional aliasing when uploading exactly 1920x1080 video. Take a look at the resolution charts that @anubisx00 uploaded.

  • when I shoot a video ( indoor ) it has a lot of noisy grain .. what shall I do ?

  • @theleo71

you should reduce the iso and maybe use a tripod so your video is more stabilized

  • @theleo71 make sure you use a lens with large aperture, (ideally 2.8 or even 1.4 but that's for complete darkness :) , don`t use a high ISO, the most 1600, use 3200 only on extreme situations, higher ISo means more noise, but again the aperture is the "noise level"

  • is Class 6 SDHC card fine with 1080p video?

  • @criticaltinker lol i've seen you comment this on almost every rebel video on youtube:P YES IT IS GOOD ENOUGH NOW STOP COMMENTING ON EVERY SINGLE 550D VIDEO!xD

  • @RubenDelight : sorry man. it's because nobody is trying to help.

  • @criticaltinker okay well now you know:D

  • @RubenDelight : what's your business anyway!!! do you own youtube???as***le

  • @criticaltinker whats ur problem i got annoyed by seeing ur comment everywhere so i decided to help you, looks to me like im way nicer than the users who didnt reply to ur thousands of comments

  • @criticaltinker jesus christ calm down
