The man shows himself to be gullible and easily influenced by the parents, who were alot smarter than him, as well as manipulative. They used his religion to influence him. The evidence that you cannot get around in this case is the evidence of prior sexual abuse and the evidence about the ransom note that was written with Patsy's pen, on Patsy's tablet and in handwriting that positively eliminated every single suspect except her. An expert said w/ certainty that it was written by her. .

I feel like they would have cracked by now or Patsy wouldn't go to her grave with the secret if she knew. I think the DNA (hoping it's the killers DNA) wouldn't be there if the parents did it. It's so hard to say.

Whoever did it is a COWARD for not coming forth and speaking up.

There are at least three edits in this 40 sec video. The first is after LS gets under the grate. The second is after he opens the window, edit to him landing on the basement floor. Last edit after that. I would be more convinced that someone came through the window if LS had actually shown himself doing so...

Oh how scary is that to watch - the impression of what the killer did and that Lou can finally proove that anybody could have gotten down into that window, the media again want hanging for their disgraceful behaviour after Jonbenet's murder. The fact a spiderweb was discovered outside the window proves nothing as it is unclear when the crime was commited and a spider can spin a web in less than an hour.

a family friend did this, i theorize. most likely an officemate of john. i believe the killer was jealous of the ramseys sucess and decided to kill jonbenet and ruin their reputation.

I have thought that many times - that theory would conclude the $18,000 ransom too. Somebody who didn't get the bonus but John Ramsey did. I think that's a strong clue. I think if this is what happened we may never find the killer of Jonbnet, because he may never commit a crime again.

Everyone is forgetting that the police noted a large spider's web on the grill over the window which was undisturbed. Had someone lifted the grate the web would have been broken. Th ats why the window as a point of entry/exit was discredited.

Yes I agree there are many loose ends in this case.And that also make's this case so interesting.For example the ransom note the amount of money they aks for $118,000.That John Ramsey received as a bonus in 1996.

This would mean that the killer knew the family and John Ramsey's business wel.

I think that it was somebody who the knew this family,and did this out of jealousy.

He would have had to bring the ladder with him,if that was his way to enter/Exit the house.this would be pretty suspicious to do,without being seen by neighbours.

rosevillmb: Also, if we take the ransom note at face value, they use the word "we" in the note which implies more than one kidnapper for sure. This might explain why the Ramseys weren't awakened by any noise whatsoever, maybe a driver sitting in the alley way in a vehicle for a quick getaway? Plus, how did the kidnappers know for sure that the family would be out visiting on the 25th and not having dinner at home, that the alarm wasn't on, the dog was gone - possible bugging of the home prior?

Rosevillmb: Didn't JonBenet also have a balcony off of her bedroom? Could this have been the point of exit/entry by a ladder possibly? Was a door or window unlocked during the party on Dec.23rd? Why was a 911 call placed during the party by someone possibly to see how long it would take for the cops to show up so the kidnappers could get away with enough time sort of a test of poice response? Lou Smit is a complete jackass. The grate was untouched and covered with COBWEBS from the outside, indicating there was no intruder and absolutely no forced entry.

During the FBI CASKU conference in Washington DC, where FBI criminologists and invesitigators came to the conclusion that the Ramseys were guilty of murder, this idiot Lou Smit kept his stupid mouth shut the ENTIRE TIME, and NOT ONCE ever brought up his loony "intrduer" theories. Detevective Lou smit has spent 30 years solving homicides.Among many notorious cases Smit has solved was the murder of young Heather Church.

This is NOT the window in question. Any average person who watches and LISTENS to interviews of John and Patsy Ramsey can NOT think they are innocent. When I listened to the statements made by Susan Smith the day her children "went missing", I immediately insisted "this is NOT a mother who has just had her kids taken from her. No way!". It was SO obvious that this woman was lying! Wake up people. The lack of emotion, the totally FAKE "acting" by Patsy told us they knew something. GUILTY!

In fact, Jonbenet was found to be missing early on 12/26/96, not at night. They immediately called 911 at about 5:15 AM. When the police arrived, officer French searched the basement, not noticing the door behind which was Jonbenet. A much later search, suggested by Det. Arndt, that John and his friend Fleet take another look was shortly before 1PM that day, whereupon john found Jonbenet's body. Before that search, they wer waiting for a promised call mentioned on the ransom note.Thats the facts

Have you ever babysitted a kid that tired? She'd been out late and her mom was able to carry her around inside without her waking. And it was the middle of the night. Most people seeing a man carrying a sleeping child outside would assume he was her dad- if they were even up at all.
