Thanks for this recipe. I have been looking for something to take to work for lunch that would be low calorie and filling, boy this is it. Quinoa is great I have never tried it before.
And I have to say you have done an awsome job on your weight loss, I still can't believe its you when I watch your first video.
i am trying to get a grocery store around here to get quinoa! walmart doesnt even have it and of course we have no healthy stores around here or whole foods etc! its depressing! ughh
another Quinoa Fan here thanks to you and your links! I am a huge GRITS fan-- but it is a guilty sensual foodie pleasure--- but thanks to you and your nod to one of your you tube friends-- I have died and gone to quinoa grits heaven!
thanks allison, i was told i could get it at "richards" or publix, i bought couscous, 7grams protein in 1/3 cup, as my "rice", bought no sugar added ragu sauce, i'll add splenda if it needs to be sweetened, and my couscous is mushroom and onion, and i'll sautee onion up and put in for flavor....can't wait for tomorrow to cook up my variation! <3
I get this one at Whole Foods ,but you could probably find it in the regular store...If not I would ask the customer service if they have it in a different place than with the rice etc. Adding the cheese would great especially for bumping up the protein!
Think I'm going to tell the hubby that we got to look for some quinona & couscous, never ever tried either 1.. & am gamed for something different. Wish me luck lol
Oh, that looks so easy and good! Becky and I made quiona-stuffed peppers with mushrooms and raisins over the weekend and it was so tasty. This recipe looks way easier, though - I'll have to give it a try!
So easy and it was great..Joe said it was the best soup he's ever had...Now that's a thumbs up lol. I bet your peppers were good...I'd love to see a video of that next time :)
I wish quinoa was easy to find up here in PA. The nearest Whole Foods is in Philadelphia which is only 15 minutes away but I NEVER go into the city....LOL!!!
Your soup look delicious and I'll have to try it when I'm able to eat again. :o)

Quinoa is an Incan super grain originated from PERU, highly regarded in that culture for its nutritional benefits. Just a quick fact, Thanks :)

This looks good!! I use that exact jar of sauce for spagetthi. It is very delicious!!! You are looking great! I enjoy your videos!!

That sauce is good and it doesn't have any preservatives either...So I think it's a good choice. I like that it has the chunks in it. Thank you :)

I'm from PA too. I found it at a Market District Giant Eagle if you have those on your side of the state. I'm over here in Pittsburgh.

Maybe you'd be able to finish it at one of your regular stores...or at least ask if they could get it.

looks good...I still have to make quinona.
I am glad you solved the going problem.
I use spinach in my salads for fiber and eat fruit.
I still have issues.
Lots of stuff gives you gas so perhaps beano is a good buy.
