Pretty nice. What really bugs me though, and not only in this video, is a situation like at 0:31 where an unarmed guy has another guy(who has a saber) against a wall, and for some reason the gut with the saber doesn't strike. Light sabers would basically have no mass on the blade, and would onlt take a flick of the wrist to hit the other guy.
This was my first time rotoscoping with after effects, and it took me about two months. However, Now I'm a lot more effecient at it, and I can do a video of this size in a few days.
As Dorkman put it when reviewing it for the contest, I am deceptively fast. I found that a really amusing comment. Just because a guy is big, doesnt mean he doesnt have speed. Im just as fast as my opponent here.
Im wasted on cross country, but very dangerous over short distances. lol.
You certainly played to the strength, not just in terms of deceptive agility, but the sheer brutality in just throwing the opponent around. Certainly very unique and entertaining. :D
Very cool. I like that you used melee amongst the saber blocks and dodges. Most people just focus on attacks and blocks solely on the sword. Nice Video.
well done! this was one of 5 or 6 i couldn't watch before because my computer sucks. since i couldn't watch all the entries i didn't vote, but if i had, this would have been up there on my list.
Your welcome to as soon as I can get it up for download. Warning: there is no high quality version. The means in which the footage was captured ruined all quality. It doesnt get much better then the high quality option on youtube. But still, What would you do?
the tunnel reminds me of the first scene in hp5

Sucks this had to go up against Ryan vs. Brandon 2. It would have won 1st place otherwise.

very nice, I only have to say that the editing or framerate made the blades a little choppy. Great work overall

This was great! The choreography looked realistic and dangerous like they were really out to kill each other. Good stuff! 5/5

The higher quality makes it even better. And it was already great.

Was this done with Adobe Photoshop?
It was a great fight, bit dark but the choreography was great, no wonder it got silver award

I used Adobe After Effects for the sabers and contact flashed; Adobe Premiere for the editing and sound. Thanks.
