With Avatar, Cameron has once again proved that he truly is a master of filmmaking.
The Abyss: Special Edition is one of the greatest movies you could ever buy, btw. So, GO BUY IT, people. lol.

I believe this is James Cameron's best movie; with The Titanic a close second. Of course the first two Terminator movies, and Aliens, weren't so bad either. But I think the Abyss is his best movie ever. It is my number two, all time favorite movie.

The long version is way better than the theatrical version, though.
But I agree with you, definitivly my fav movie of Cameron
