Ap cut out Obama's screw-up of the memorial speech. He couldn't even state who he was addressing because he mixed up the cue cards. Sorry Obama:( Too little, too late and it's obvious your words are not genuine. You got your cue cards mixed up and can't even offer real condolences. @123lovegun I couldn't agree more, and stop and think...what if they drop the ball, and fail to connect the dots when a nuclear weapon is involved? This and the 9/11 attacks will look like a walk in the park if and when that day comes. Obama needs to wake up and realize that America's enemies need to be defeated, not reasoned with.

there was a part during the ceremony when someone was calling out names and they were shouting --here sergeant major -- then they would say the name of the person who was killed, etc. alternating. what is the significance of this? just curious.....

I have a nephew who served in Iraq and one about to deploy to Afghanistan. The last thing I want either of them seeing is demoralized "PTSDed" troops that didnt even deploy yet...Gen Patton slapped a soldier for this in WWII. If AP had an ounce of patriotism they would have shit-canned that footage, and showed the Troop shot 3 times whose trying to make sure hes well enough to deploy in 2 months with his unit...The the message our enemies need to take from this is We Are Coming for you Anyway.

The stark contrast between numbers and resolve...Numbers win battles. Resolve wins wars. Whether the casualties of this attack felt fear isnt a question. That AP chose to show demoralized face of a few, instead of 100s of other soldiers standing there ready to use Hasan's shin-bone for soup speaks to their own ideology. The mood on Ft. Hood isnt shock...its rage. Here as in Vietnam, our own press is destroying troop moral. This clip insults the millions who fought hard despite their fears.

however, they were filmed just after the funeral proceedings. so, they arent really at their best state, mentally and emotionally. i doubt anyone would be feeling red hot rage after a funeral.

besides, who knows? that guy might be the next MOH recipient. there really is no need to be too worked up over this video. this'll pass.

As I said, 99% of the troops on Ft. Hood would use Hasan's shin bone for a soup ladle. While this video was insulting, what really has me going is the cavalier attitude the CiC has towards all of this...Pass the buck on a bad decision to try the 9/11 Ghouls in NYC to Eric Holder(Who last job prior to Att. Gen. was Defending this scum pro-bono), leaving the troops in Afghanistan dangling? Cheney called it "dithering" and now even the democrats agree with Cheney! That's one of the 7 signs I think.
