I think I saw you in school but I do not believe that we ever actually met. I ended up going to college and getting a degree in Psychology, then worked with children who have autism. Those were some of the most meaningful times of my life and I learned SO MUCH from the children. Sadly, the center where I worked is no longer around... Now I am working on a degree in nursing, but I will always have a place in my heart for those with autism. Thank you for creating this.
I knew Gwen Waltz and Nick Pentzell! I went to high school with two of Nick's brothers—Brendan and Max—and was in plays with them. I also took two classes from their father, who also directed two plays I was in and whose 1996 funeral I attended. Since they moved out, I've wanted to get back in touch with them.

I have autism, too, and though I can talk I find the spoken word to be too "slow" for me. I prefer to write.
