@wwejheaton , A horror movie doesn't have to show blood and guts to be scary. there is different ways for a movie to be scarey and if done right "what you don't see can be just as scary as what you do see". look at Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho it was a psychological thriller film. A Classic that didn't need to be blood and guts to be a good Horror film.

@Astraldragon1 Thats the problem with horror movies nowadays. They put more focus into gore,sex and violence and no thought in real story or actual fear. They rely too heavily on people being scared of blood and guts or shock value, and in some cases shock value may work (The Evil Dead Series) but Evil Dead has a story and actual thought towards the plot. It's hard to find that in Horror movies nowadays, It's a shame, kids missed a great generation of horror. I'm glad I didn't miss that.
