I remember watching this very channel at home. My alarm clock woke me up at 9am and my parents were in the master bedroom talking rather loudly. I went in there because I heard the TV was on and it was about 2 minutes before the second plane hit. I saw the 2nd plane live on TV. It was horrifying. :(

They wanted to do the same thing a few years before in France. The GIA in Algeria hijacked an Air France Airbus on Algiers airport before it was due to leave. They couldn't get airborne for two days (killed three people in the plane). Were unable to fly to Paris due to unsufficient kerosene so went to Marseille in the south of France to refuel. The french commandos stormed the plane while it was there as they had heard of what was planned. The plan was to crash the plane in the center of Paris

This was the broadcast I was watching that morning, and was watching when the 2nd plane hit. I think Gumble handled it very well; he stayed calm and kept the witness calm and talking until they were able to get more information.

I think if this was an inside job, the government knew that the terrorist were attempting to bring down the towers with planes ect, ect, and let them do it, and implant the explosions before hand. But really I dont see a building built as sturdy and strong as this one would collapse in less than 2 hours of burning, in which there isnt many flames...it just doesnt make sense

@WorldNewsDaily Plane also did structural damage. Several columns destroyed at the height of the collision putting extra load on the remaining columns. Fire caused the trusses in the floors to weaken causing floors to collapse down. This caused a loss of lateral support, and they eventually snapped. There's some good video of the external columns snapping at the start of the collapse. How would they put explosives at the right height without knowing where the plane would hit without being seen?

Being from the U.K., I've never heard of Bryant Gumble. A newsreader has to retain a level of separation and impartiality; however, he does take this far too far. The later camera angle gave a better view, but no-one could have missed that flash, surely? And Jesterinoz, I agree that Richard David should have applied for a job! To the point, factual, good evidence, and the ability to read the evidence - all the characteristics of a good reporter.

So when the second one hit (which he obviously didnt see live) he had to ask "WHY do you think it was deliberate" so that people viewers could hear why she thinks it was on purpose. NOBODY though "OH ITS A TERRORIST ATTACK ON THE US" as soon as the second plane hit. Im pretty sure most of you didnt even know what terrorism was before 911... smh.
