  • Hali! Gratula a projekthez! Hogy álltok most?

    Üdv Magyarországról!

    Balázs

  • Beautiful.... You should sell it in kits, so we can all go invade Poland next summer!

  • Incrediblee!!! i love the plane...is it flying yet? can i fly it? :P

    Greets!

  • What`s the destined powerplant?

  • The Me 109 was in service here in Spain till 1969, not with the original BMW engine but with a Rolls, because lack of spares for the BMM. The take off needed full right foot, easy on the rudder a little, full right rudder again, in very fast order...just to keep the plane on line with runway...Lazzlo, if you plan to fly it, watch it. And good luck.

  • you put the metal skin on the inside of the frame? is it going to be a sandwich stressed skin? like a double hull oil tanker?

  • hey if it all works out ill deff be ur first buyer for one been looking all around for a bf109 g6 :D

  • Are there any manuals from WWII about making the aircraft or were they all destroyed?

  • You are sick! In a good way :) Good luck with the project.

  • please make an affordable plane that is under $10,000 hehe

  • beautiful, that is breath taking, i'm a scale model builder, free flight. the structuring is great, i would be very interested to know how she performs...Tim

  • Another dreamer who gave up and disappeared after not building the aircraft...Bye Bye !

  • VERY NICE!! It's so funny to see another guy with the same kind of twisted brain I have!! I was going to build a full scale Bf-109 to sit in my yard, and my interest in that led me to RC planes, where I am now FULLY immersed! I do hope to get back to the Messerschmitt project one of these days, though-

  • @Killerplanes

    hello,

    thanks for the good words, i appreciate it! We are up and running on our webpage ;

    .new-messerschmitt.gportal.hu

    Hope you enjoy

  • Very good indeed, though I wish you'd built an 'E', as 'G''s are relatively common. I'm very familiar with that piece of music, though I had no idea that they were singing about 'Eng-e-land' & 'Scot-e-land'!

  • The link to the webpage ;

    new-messerschmitt.gportal.hu

it didnt allow the w`s to post it, anyhow i hope you enjoy

    Cheers!

  • Hello everyone, Iam very sorry for the late reply we have been building and doing a lot of work to get the company running, finally we have it, Messerschmitt Aviation Pty. Ltd. here in Australia. I have launched a webpage, with new updated photos, and there will be a lot of information going on there which you can read and keep following...

Thanks for everyone again for there time and replies :)

    Cheers,

    Les

  • That's fantastic!

Will you upload more videos on this project? Hope so, as the Me-109 is one of my favourite planes!

  • What will be the powerplant?

  • Hello i have a question how is classified this plane? It's like a ultralight or something other?

  • Nice!! Sell me one! :)

  • Very cool build!, but from here it looks like you're using construction grade pine plywood. What grade is it?

  • Without the cockpit attached it strangely looks like a P-40 Warhawk.

    Keep up the good work!

  • A very worthwhile project. Well done you guys

  • So, what's the latest?

  • What kind of performance might it have? Will it be as tricky to land as the original?

  • Hello everyone, sorry for my late or very late reply, i did not have enough time to come on youtube...anyway the fuselage is nearly finished, if anyone interested please email here ;

    laszloa87@hotmail.com

    many thanks

    regards, Laszlo

  • I'm really excited to see how this thing turns out. Good choice on the mazda rotary, those things are great for weight/hp. So you have a web site or an online photo album? I really want to see more pics.

  • Very impressive, are you using balsa cored ply skins as used on the DuCros Spitfire? What powerplant are you going with? This is a great project, just make sure you've got your dancing shoes on the rudder bar for that first take-off! Keep up the good work, guys!

  • @pete2778

if I can remember - they created a plywood/pine frame and inner layer of fibreglass skin

  • Very interesting. What are you using to make sure its done to scale?

  • Sent you a message Laszlo. The 109 looks great!

  • cool, so you're making it all out of wood?

  • Some news ??

    Like it.

  • Wow want an awesome project. I would love to come and see it some day as I live on the Eastern side of Melb.

  • Fantastic, what a great project. Can't wait to see it when it's finished.

  • GREAT Hey where did you live ill see the bf 109 please ???

  • AUSGEZEICHNET!

  • Good luck getting that Plywood Emporium off the ground. I'm not knocking this project, just wishing you luck. :-)

  • Fantastic!

  • Great work

    Please upload when finished

  • I think the main problem will be the inverted engine layout of the DB with all its variants and license build versions...they are pretty rare, therefore I think it will stay static or it will have a different look...like the AVIA S199 or the HA 1112 Buchon

  • respect...respect....good job...but i cant believe this construction will be more than a static 109....

  • I thought Bf109 was a metal airplane? Good Luck! nice work!

  • Excellent concept!. I hope it will be with "Erla haube". Looks better :). What kind (type, power) engine and propeller will be used?!. Will be much slaighter then oryginal?. Regards!.

  • And expected mto weight of your 109?

  • I love it Laz. I'll have to post one of my 190.

  • Are you guys using original blueprint for this? I'd love to see more of this build.

  • @Master7770 yes we are using original blueprints, I have more then 2500 pages of blueprints on just the 109 G which we are building.

  • ant new pictures from this brilliant project??

  • @shotibf109G2

    Hello Zsolti,

Gratulálunk, szépen haladtok, kíváncsiak vagyunk az építés további lépéseire is!

    Üdv, Károly

  • What motor will be used?

  • We plan on using a Mazda Rotary - Wankel engine around 300Hp.

The whole plane will weigh in at around between 700-800kg as take off weight

  • @LaszloA87

    REALLY!

    That's very interesting.

  • really ;)
