  • i strayed from the iPhone myself until i got ahold of my Ballistic app

  • What were is the gas mask

  • What were is the gas mask

  • I used to run a Kahr PM9 with night sites in an IWB holster or pocket holster. I ended up ditching it because no matter what I did the mag release kept getting pressed and I kept having to reset the mag. It obviously drew attention to me so I ended up switching backup guns. Good video though man.

  • @nutnfancy just a pen? why not a tactical pen?

  • Dude I keep a folder clipped to my pocket 24/7

  • only nutnfancy could make carrying a fanny pack, chap stick, and a change purse seem manly

  • Nice purse....

  • why do i get the feeling i am on the strange side of youtube again?

  • On plus of being a girl I can have a purse:)

  • @bull063 yes!!! Rap some duct tape around it toooooooooooo!!!!

  • dudicals

  • everything but a condom, lol. i love these videos i just couldnt help but mention that.

  • @Carvulski2cool yeah condoms can be used to do everything, not always just for "pleasure". but i dont think mrs nutnfancy wouldnt be too happy if she found a condom on him - LOL

  • good infor

  • doodicals?

  • Love Nutten, but for me Id never ever get laid again if i wear a fannypack, and im single. If your married it would be ok.

  • shit u guys act like this guys some kind of god, answerin for him and saying he does this and that and wow, i guess some people need a ero, he does it so should we

  • I bought some nice La Crosse tweezers too. Got tired of trying to extract slivers, etc. with those weak dollar bin tweezers. One of those times when expensive name brand really is better.

Liked them so much I got a second set for keeping in my car first aid kit.

  • Any of the Victorianox "Plus" models would be a more compact and lightweight substitute for the Leatherman, pen, and tweezers.

  • I don't know if I can do a Fanny Pack. Small tactical Molle Messenger bag "MAN Purse" is easier for me.

  • This question may show my inexperience with guns/knives, but why do you have a devensive knife when you have a defensive gun? In a situation where you are going to need to defend yourself I would choose the option that defuses the situation the most effectively. A knife just seems to be more dangerous to the user. Again, you obviously know more about this than me, I'm just curious?

  • @bigfatgoider Sometimes a knife is a better weapon than a gun. If you're too close to the assailant, shooting them will also hit people that may be behind them, or the position you're in makes it uncomfortable to pull out your gun. Maybe you want to fend him off without the racket of a gunshot. In any case, having 2 defensive weapons on you is always better than just one, like if your firearm malfunctions for whatever reason. Anything can happen really.

  • @OmegaOwA Thanks for the reply. I knew there had to be a good reason for it.

  • Please tell me you do not carry all of that stuff every day. I think some gun folks really over do it, especially when you're not in the military or LE. If you're an average civilian, the chances of you needing that entire get up is very small.

  • Dam what is that a 9 mil? That pistol is so small i thought it was a 380 or a 25

  • @slinkydog2222 -A .380 round is almost the exact same thing as a 9mm.

  • but will it blend??????

  • Slow draw better than no draw.

  • Dude, are you related to MacGuyer?

  • @RJFogs Hahaha! That comment cracked me up, but there is some truth in it. Our grandaddy was very "MacGuyver-esque"... -- Veri

  • Something else to think about in an edc system is a small bottle of hand sanitizer. I'm not a germ-a-phobe but there are instances where you need sanitized hands or need to sanitize them afterwards. Great vid though!

  • saved yours for last alot of people have what i think is to much to carry in a edc but u have perfected it

  • Is that your EDC system or are you just happy to see me?

  • One thing I always carry that lots of other people never seem to is a cheap, plastic cigarette lighter. No, I don't smoke. But it weighs next to nothing and comes in handy Often.

  • dude wat ever happen to the... you forgot the deodorant . also @machinistscott i like the name satchel more then fany, it really sounds gay.@nutnfancy i like the idea of the loop on the "satchel" instead of connecting in the waist, you can clip it with your jean, belt ect... any idea when new york will loosen up on the gun laws??

  • Your a genius for the whistle recommendation... good call sir. I now carry carry one. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy. Lol.

  • can you even make a text with that cell phone. in a case of emergency. jk ha

  • @Super1shawn1 LOL probably not. He's got an iphone now...but I think he really resisted it and just basically had to get one... -- Veri

  • Also, what do you think of those shoulder holsters for concealed carry?

  • Hey Nutn, do you like the PM9 more than the PF9?

  • dudeicles really?

  • @YeLLo22JeLLo Yeah really. ^_^

  • you must have cargo pockets on your cargo pockets man

  • I live in Florida and almost every day there is some nerdy tourist with a bright jamsport fanny pack on.

  • My civilian edc was much like yours before my ARMY combatives instructor gave me a little insight on this issue. His point was that you can train and train with a handgun, becoming very proficient with it. But what makes you proficient with a blade? Knives should only be used for utility. When defending myself I'm going to reach for my most casualty producing weapon every time. If I have time to reach my knife and open it, I also have enough time to draw my handgun. Just my 2 cents.

  • @crazyman3737

yeah this edc is a lil extreme.

  • ooo forgot pen flashlight

  • i would NOT wear a fanny pack. it may be very useful in all that it can carry but its just not cool. like edstar1972 commented, cargo pants are more than capable. my edc is a swiss army huntsman (which has plenty enough of tools), a wallet, my keys, pen, cell phone, and possibly my pocket survival kit (which has a whistle in it). besides a lot of the things i need i have at ready in my car (such as comb and first aid kit and other hygiene items). another important item is flint and steel(in psk)

  • i recommend you bring some antiseptic towel stuff like that

  • Dude, the fanny pack is NOT an option! That is why cargo pants were invented!

  • Fat tourists lol..

  • you should get the lighter with a knife, its better because its smaller and its a lighter and a knife

  • "a whistle that's gayyyy" LOL that was funny. but it's true a whistle is good to carry =)

  • Dude get a damn purse! your packing to much stuff!

  • "Fat Tourists wear Jansport Fannypacks" LOL

  • I like some of it but I carry Glock ! I substitute a G26 when not deployed . Most of it I like but I like for EDC the Gerber , while i carry a Leatherman Wave for EOD task ! It has a punch in it . I use a Merse ,IE Versipack as a former LEO I enjoy the more gear ,I can get to with smart packing ! Overall great Vid Bro. Update if you want ,do not worry about other folks deriding ! Keep posting good info I like the perceptions , I may disagree but you have your opinion I have mine !

  • wouldn't you want your whistle to be more easily reachable in an emergency situation?

  • I enjoyed these two system reviews. I like the weight and purpose focus you have outlined here. Good job.

  • I bet he would love the M2 maxpedition for this setup

  • Motorola Krzr is one of the most compact phones still on the market

also, ive made a custom sheath for my knife once that was did not have a strap to restrain the blade, but was lined with magnetic tape, which works great

  • Motorola Krzr is one of the most compact phones still on the market

  • Change is for suckers.

  • you should build that kit and sell it to people, because i would buy one of them.

  • That's a lot of stuff. Maybe not in the cooler months, but man, that's a lot of stuff. Add some keys and you're carrying a lot of gear. Do you really wear a fanny pack everywhere? I would suggest leaving the hygiene stuff in your car. The rest you can fit in your pockets.

  • I'm investigating using a backpack. I'm going to look for a smaller backpack. They're more unassuming and can carry groceries home. Problem is they're more expensive when looking for a good one.

  • where do you keep your dental dams you faggot

  • @thegmenxlii Say's the guy with AIDS....

  • @krakenbound tuchae

  • It's not a man purse, it's a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

    Maxpedition Versapack S-type, actually.

  • @Machinistscott Max Vers S is my choice too.. Great gear.

  • Ready for Zombies

  • So every guy you see with a fanny pack is prolly "packin?!" lol

  • nutnfancy is my hero

  • Ass purse...lol....

  • Ass purse...lol

  • hey nutnfancy nicce tactical tweezers :)

  • this guy is awesome

  • I'm sorry if this was answered somewhere else but how would you carry your gun wrol?

  • All of this is completely unnecessary. People don't need to be armed to the teeth every day they leave there house.. a small SOG knife and good fighting skills will do.. that 9mm won't do you any good when a gang member pulls out an ak-47 and does a drive-by. These are all illusions of protection. I travel through the roughest neighborhoods of NY and I never needed any of this shit.

  • Wayyyyyyyy too much crap.

  • Does he carry his fanny pack in the front of him or behind him? or the side?

  • @TheFr1ch Usually in the front under a shirt that is not tucked in. You can't even see it. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy whats LEO?

  • @2010blackhawkdown Law Enforcement Officer

  • @nutnfancy Also instead of a belly band would it be better to have a pocket clip on the gun. if you can get a pocket clip on that gun.

  • @nutnfancy Veri, how can you not see it under the shirt? is it just that small? or is it cause of his gut (not poking fun, I have one too. lol)?

  • @TheFr1ch lol fanny pack

  • lol I would not want to be the guy who decides to try and mug you because you have a fanny pack on. Great vid man! Bringing the fanny pack into the realm of manliness!!!!

  • wtf? i just googled leathermen and it suggested that i google "gay"

  • I guess the belly band doesn't work under just a T-shirt?

Dito on the small phones - I hate my smart phone. I'm going back to a small one next upgrade. I'd rather carry a bigger multitool! Unfortunately a fanny pack would look funny in the business office attire that I'm stuck in 8 hours a day. But I got full pockets!

  • Holy shit, this is a lot of shit for edc... you're definitely ready for just about any situation life throws at you.

  • I think the ultimate accessory would be a pockey sized nutnfancy for you to carry around with you to preform all your defense and utility needs for you...

  • Hey mate, interesting vid. So you are legally able to carry all that in the states? Here in Australia we can't carry even a pocketknife (like a muli-purpose knife) legally. It's rather different where you are... Cheers.

  • dudeicles? thats a new one

  • i chose the iphone so i can watch nutnfancy videos for help... great video thanks fancy

  • gould and goodrich's only office is located in Lillington, NC 27546, i used to live there, google them their products rock

  • lol, man u paranoid. rape whistle much.

  • the chapstick wind protectant spf 15 variety, man knows his chapstick.

  • You may have already addressed this. I know this is a tactical carry, situation ready vid, but I consider the ability to make fire an important subject. I love your video, but i just think a fire making implement would be a good idea, never know when car may break down in in-climate weather and the ability to stay warm would be a major help. A bic lighter or 2 are lightweight and the added advantage they give you far outweighs not having them, especially for rural dwellers

  • Replacing shirt buttons with snaps or Velcro spots would help access the gun.

  • British people: Fanny pack = bum bag. Nutnfancy doesn't have a "fanny."

  • When going into the city, I keep a $20 bill wrapped around a matchbook. I'd rather throw that down to distract an attacker to get away than have to draw on him. If that fails, at least I can tell the DA I offered $20 to leave us alone before shooting him.

  • Love whistles. I keep one in my hiking stuff, but you're right, they're good for urban use too. They are so much louder than talking.

  • yo nutn, i know this is 2 years old but that cell looks more bulky than an iPhone for sure

  • no peanut lighter? no watch? no glasses? :O

  • hay, seen a lot of ur vids n i like them. one thing that i like to have on me when im not home is a zippo lighter. has plenty of uses for something like ur edc pack. just my 2 cents.

  • Does the Phone stay on the Pack,Ex,Running like that?

  • Nice trick with the gorilla tape and the neosporin tube.

  • rape whistle!

  • "ill juice all over the place so i put duck tape on it "

  • Why the Neosporin if you don't have a bandaid? Just curious.

  • Gooood call on the whistle! Simple . Effective. Not many would think of that...

  • Gooood call on the whistle! Simple . Effective. Not many would think of that...

  • Love the video, just have to say, not real big on the Blazer ammo...seems to shoot real nasty in my Kahr. I've been using the Hornady Critical Defense ammo, and I can't say enough good things about those rounds...

  • rape whistle? lol jk

  • @nromando Let's be honest. I would try and rape nutn if I ever saw him in person.

  • Lol "Do you have a pen?" "Yeah it's next to my gun"

  • If you do not want to go packing around a large fanny pack you can always find some pretty good 'on the belt' packs like some backpacking first aid kits come in. The benefit is that you dont have that extra belt to deal with and they are usually smaller. Downside is you cant take em off at a moments notice. (but you wouldnt really want to if you are packing a gun eh?) I have one that fits a glock 30 albeit snuggly. The glock is about to be traded for a khar I think :)

  • i put all my stuff in my backpack, its easy to grab and i hav that kid look going on so no one gusses what i hav

  • u carry 3 fucking guns and a knife..... up here in canada, we dont even need a knife, u never see anyone steal, u never get mugged, and no1 is mean. ive never met an ass hole or someone that stole anything

  • @hobofam canada's frilly and gay i know a bunch of people who carry and i know if i crossed them they'd bust a slug in me, i dont lose any sleep at night. btw i've never commited a crime in my life

  • @hobofam the police in Canada carry guns don't they? wonder why they would have to if no one steals from or mugs anyone. hmmmm.

  • @schwarzblatt some people are dumb and do try. im not saying everyone is good and awesome, people steal and murder other people, last week a Police officer from Toronto was killed. in the USA, everyone needs to carry a gun "just in case"... just in case what? someone try mugging u? they will shoot u befor u can get out ur gun.

  • @hobofam

yep sure crime isnt real in canada lets all go comment on other peoples vids and say really stupid shit.

  • lol mainly wogs and white trash wear fanny packs in places i go, and most of them are dealers rofl

  • Hey Nutnfancy, great video! Have you made any changes to your EDC as of 2011? If so can you post an updated vid of it? No hurry.

  • Hey Nutnfancy, awesome vid! Have you made any changes to your edc as of 2011?

  • Dude, there is NO WAY in hell that I'm gonna carry all of that stuff with me 24/7.

    Instead, I carry:

    -Watch

-Cellphone (with a flashlight and GPS)

-Wallet with an internal change compartment (+ a condom:P)

-Keys (with a mini-flashlight and a 16GB USB flash drive)

    -Swiss Army Knife (Victorinox "Locksmith")

Where I live, carrying a concealed firearm is illeagal. Even if it wasn't, I probably stil would't carry one. But, if I would carry one, it would be my Glock 26 + one extra mag.

  • cheapo

  • my god you have like a survival kit, for everyday life lol americans are strange

  • @Carljoakimmm thats a harsh stereo type from watching one youtube video. what has your country accomplished?

  • @wsmarines1 what? what has my country accomplished? how is that relevant?

And i'm sorry if i offended you, i just thaught it was strange to carry so much stuff around all the time :)

  • LOL!! "You see fat tourists wearing this!" Best line yet!

  • Fanny Packs Rock Baby!

  • I saw in newer videos that Nutn carries a 21" ASP baton, I guess he was not carrying it at the time of this video. It would be nice to have an update on that.

I was wondering how he carries it (holster, in pocket, inside the waist band ... ?).

After this 2 years old video an update would be more than welcome, I think it would be interesting to see if anything changed.

Thum up if you agree TNPers!

  • i dont think the whistle would come in handy really. nobody really knows what a whistle means or what it would mean. maybe it's a kid blowing it for fun...

  • @thefunnypharaoh I see what you are saying, but it would probably draw attention of some sort. So in certain situations it could be really useful.

  • @dustinmcd91 yea, after i wrote that i thought the one situation where it would be useful would be if you were stranded and yelling would make you lose your voice. but how often does that happen?

  • If your getting raped... blow your rape whistle!

  • love it! I will show my hubby this for his EDC. =)

  • Great video! I can detect his military background by him putting emphasis on hygiene related EDC items. "Look sharp, act sharp" And putting his wallet in a fanny pack is highly recommended! Putting it in a back pocket displaces the spine when sitting which can cause severe back problems in older years. Thanks Nuntfancy! (and thanks to you too Veri for your hard work!=) God bless and Happy New Year!

  • Use the Maxpedition OCTA.

  • ill go central nevous system andaaa headshots.....believe i will.....damn thats kind of scary how he said that

  • After reading tons of reviews and watching every video of yours on the subject, I made my first handgun purchase of a Glock 19 and was very happy with it, Just recently i sold it and acquired what i truly desired the Sig P226 Dark Elite. I stuck a Viridian X5L on it as well and couldn't be happier. I'm looking exhaustively into the right CCW system now and funny enough came to the PM9 and the new Sig P290, supposedly almost identical to the PM9 but you got me hooked on Sig!

  • @stinkfist0700 listen stupid, i am dyslexic, but you probably dont know what that is. oh and by the way even though you are a tool id gladly protect your life if the situation called for it. i hope you feel like a man for posting these stupid comments.oh and btw they dont let me carry a gun i am 20 not 01 i do any way.

  • 64 people didn't have a whistle going down a dark alley at night....

  • Cargo pants are always an alternative if the fanny pack is socially unacceptable. But when the SHTF and you've got the little things people take for granted, I'm sure it'll seem worth it. If I carried a fanny pack I'd also pack a few protein or meal replacement bars just in case. (and no, fanny pack rules would dictate that I can't share with your hungry a...)

  • what r ur top 5 ccp..#conceal carry pistols

top 5. pistols.. in calibers.. give your honest opinion..

  • good idea if someone attacs you the beast thing to do is use a wissile:if people are around blow the wissile to draw attention, if no one is around but you and the bad guy drop you pants and shake you hands while using the wissile if he or she still atacks you... well at least you should have less regrets about using lethal force because you knew there was noting that would stop them accept shooting them. lol

  • @jordantheok And how often do people attack you. I doubt many normal people carry a WHISTLE your probably a tool if you carry a whistle or wear cargo pants. Along with that cell phone and the case it is in....

  • @stinkfist0700 what the hell r u talking about. I was i was making a joke. but yup i do carry a whistle, a gun a few knifes, pepper spray and a MT, EVERY DAY, because i am prepared. a tool is a person that is left running, hieing and crapping themselves, asking me to protect them and or there family just after mocking me for being prepared. YOU DOUCHE!

  • @stinkfist0700 Cut it out, stink.. This is just the kind of senseless bickering that Nutn hates in the comments. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy What I can't have an opinion?? jordantheok should not be carrying a gun he's not of age. And who is VERI?

  • @stinkfist0700 Veri is Verilioness nutns sister

  • The 2nd Amendment says: Right to Bear Arms.

So it is not only a right, but our DUTY to carry a gun

  • Boy Scout motto: Be Prepared

  • Although carrying a whistle and a fanny pack, I still think nutnfancy is John Rambo. Keep up the good work.

  • Do you have a video showing you wearing the belly band? Or a picture you can post? I really like that idea and want to replicate your setup! Thanks

  • If you need a belt purse, you carry too much stuff.

  • I know a fanny pack is good for carrying stuff, and is versatile. But I just cant imagine myself carrying one

  • @nutnfancy You are very influential with these videos. I looked on my favorite shopping site for this lumbar pack, and in the "also bought" links, lo and behold, are all of your other EDC items.

  • @MrAdcomedy Use your whistle & with a secret squirrel wink, show your "I donated to the State Troopers" bumper sticker on the back of your COPS tee shirt. But for real, You'll know it by The demeanor and body language of the sheepdog. Perps only give verbal commands like "gimme the f-ing money" or "I told you B-tch" If you can't recognize another LE officer in plain clothes, then you haven't been in the field long enough. We have the worst fashion and are paying attention to our surroundings.

  • Instead of a fanny pack why not use a dump pouch to carry all your stuff in that way it has two uses and you're not using a fanny pack.

  • @MG6793 Not nutn, but from what I know a dump pouch has fewer compartments (worse organization and retention) and is much less compact. With all the stuff he's carrying he needs some level of organization otherwise he'll just be fumbling around the pouch trying to find everything.

  • No OC (pepper spray)? Hmm.

Personally, I value having that option in the defensive / trouble avoidance "toolkit." In most states you can legally carry OC spray practically EVERYWHERE, with a very few exceptions like courthouses and airplanes.

  • @classof77 As a retired Law Enforcement officer with much experience in the field with the OC spray, I have never been able to use pepper spray against a perpetrator without getting it into my own eyes and darn near incapacitating myself. Get ready for the perp to rush you after deployment. The wind, weather conditions, and the moving around factor make it an ok tool at best. Common sense goes a long way. Be alert. Most perps attack the people who arent paying attention to their surroundings.

  • oh. and weed in a slimline Tupperware bin with a small glass pipe. sky is the limit so get high

  • along with 5 550 paracord wrist bands, watch; Luminox EVO F-117 Nighthawk, Black Dial, Black PVD Steel Bracelet. Benchmade CBK, Black BK1 Neosporin in the gameboy case, along with some fabric bandaids, sterile gauss bandages. i have the juice in there as well.550 cord woven strap for gameboy color case. spare cord for the case if i need to disassemble the strap. folding fillet knife from benchmade.

  • i carry a Benchmade 940, subrosa, and 710 every day. or a 51 or 42. getting exited for the 53. Sig Saur p226 with 2 spare magazines. or a kimber .45 1911. spyderco baliyo. zippo. at&t HTC. wallet, keys to audi a6, love that car. house, work ect. Monster Turbine High-Performance In-Ear Speakers. Listerine mint strips. gameboy color case. yes it is very pratical. and i do bring my DS in it. along with emergency gear, phone charger ect. i have a mega battery in my car with electrical ports. i'm 25.

  • im 15 and go to a bad area with friends cause they live their, any way me and my freind walk to their to meet them and i always have my leatherman skeletool and kershaw scallion. i once had go in a fight with my freind but it ended quick cause pulled it and they ran.= ]

  • i have a quick question. and im down with you carrying all these items. but in civilian rol, say you are going to the local food market to buy some food for dinner for the family...You carry all of these items?

  • @am64135 No, not all this for a grocery store run or a quick run for errands, or eating out. But he ALWAYS carries, no matter what he's going to do. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy wow, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. i was never really sure if it even went through (not a youtube poster/blog person)

  • @am64135 Anytime. =) -- Veri

  • @am64135 He carries in the shower. That's why he loves Glock polymer guns.
