  • Neat little boat, but far cry from the ark as claimed in the bible. And they did not take the dimensions from the bible, they took the proportions from the bible. Huge difference.

  • Dumbest thing I've ever seen. So they made a miniature-scale boat...and that somehow proves Noah's Ark was real...? Um...wow.

  • Stupid ads. CBS, and their idiotic programming, is one of the reasons I escaped to FREE entertainment like HULU and bittorrent.

  • These people are retarded... even more retarded than the average religious person... which is amazingly retarded!!!

  • how the fuck did they fit 2 of EVERY SINGLE animal on that boat...

  • OMG I see a flame wars coming !1!!1!

  • biblical my ass

  • Morons. Of course it's a fairy-tale, every single dicipline of science you can think of shows that:)

  • @winterstellar Which ones? Examples, please.

  • @Asiablue Geology, zoology, palaentology, physics, everything. A global flood has always been impossible and will remain impossible. You'd need 4 times more water than there is on the planet to make a flood like that. Of course the ignorant ancient flat-earthers who spread the fairytale knew nothing about such things, so they can't be blamed, but anyone who believes the fairytale today has to be incredibly ignorant:)

  • @winterstellar And of course archaeology, hehe. Just Imagine all the zillions of proofs archaeologists would have found all over the world? (I feel a bit weird explaining why a fairytale can't be true, though:)

  • @winterstellar Actually, a global flood would not have been needed to have the catastrophic effects described in the Bible. The topography of the area and archeological studies have shown the plausibility of several floods. And virtually all peoples of the world have an ancient flood story in their respective cultures. They did not just make it up over a campfire. Your 'fairytale' theory makes a great strawman argument, but is scientifically moot.

  • @Asiablue Floods happen all the time, nobody denies that. But the story in "The Bible" is about a "global flood" started by an "invisible man in the sky",and that would be a fairy-tale.

  • @winterstellar Again, your literal argument is a self-serving straw man and not scientific. Believe as you wish, but please don't present it as science.

  • @Asiablue So you are saying that some flood could have inspired the authors of the fairy-tale! So what? It tells of a global flood and a huge boat with "all the kinds of animals in it", and that's the fairytale! Jeezs, are you retarded? The people in the video are fundie christians trying to "prove" the fundie literal fairytale, whether there have been floods is not the question here! Jeez: )

  • wow the FIRST noahs ark ever i mean cone on really doe's anyone really beleive that shit?

  • take your boat to the sea Noah ...

  • You believe the bible is true huh.. What about the part where you're supposed to murder homosexuals, kill people who believe in different gods, stone disobedient children, or where raped women are supposed to marry their rapist?

  • nice ark

  • noahs ark is real. proof is in the bible.

  • "Complete with 2 of every animal." This reporter is a joke; there are over 5,000 species of mammals alone, not to mention birds, reptiles and amphibians. There are reasons a Zoo is larger than 10 of his boats. Keep reporting mythology with a straight face - it's good for a laugh.

What did the animals and people do once they found land again? Tough to re-populate with such limited choices.

  • Wow, that's impressive at least.

  • I'm convinced.......Beautiful Boat..........Ark. Noah would love this duplication. God Bless!! Jo.

  • good luck you going to need that ark

  • oops history of religions holy sacred place, ground, and site etc

is folder title name in my page.

you will be surprised real Noah's Ark. God bless you. :D thanks.

  • Dumb ass christians..

  • That's totally big enough to fit 2 of EVERY ANIMAL ON EARTH. Even the ones no-one has discovered yet. [/sarcasm]

  • its beautiful!!!!!

  • oh great two people built a tiny boat out of some old wooden planks, big news

an actual ark would have been impressive, this is just a tiny boat

  • why?

  • oh myXD

    it is nice.

measure by Cubic (hand to Elbow)? I watched wideo recreate in germany also.

if you want to see real Noah's Ark. in turkey.

my page in history of religions heritages (folder name) check it out:D thanks.

  • Oh religious people....you so crazy

  • It's still way smaller in full size than what we have today... heck, Titanic was 882 feet 9 inches...

What exactly are they trying to prove, that you can build a little scale Ark, with modern conveniences?

  • You can build the fucking ark until your miles in debt, it's the flood that's the myth... their is no geological evidence to support such an event.

  • @CJCA915 The whole land scape of the earth is evidence enough.Take a giant body of water nd throw all of the earths natural resources.Shake it up and let it settle for yrs on its own. Then take the layers and study them. What will be ontop and what will be found beneath all the rest?

  • @TheTrojanabuser No, it's not.

A previous theory said the Black Sea rose up to 195 feet (60 meters), possibly burying villages and spawning the tale of Noah's flood and other inundation folklore.

But a new study—largely focused on relatively undisturbed underwater fossils—suggests a rise of no more than 30 feet (10 meters).

Marine geologist Liviu Giosan and colleagues carbon-dated the shells of pristine mollusk fossils, which the researchers say bear no evidence of epic flooding.

  • Found in sediment samples taken from where the Black Sea meets the Danube River, the shells "weren't eroded, agitated, or moved," said Giosan, of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in Massachusetts. "We know the mud is exactly the same age as the shells and so can determine what the sea level was about 9,400 years ago."

  • The results suggest the Black Sea rose 15 to 30 feet (5 to 10 meters), rather than the 150 to 195 feet (50 to 60 meters) first suggested 13 years ago by Columbia University geologist William Ryan and colleagues. Ryan declined to be interviewed for this story.

In order for the world wide flood to have taken place, it would have had to go up tens of thousands of feet, since the peak of Mount Everest is 29,029 feet above sea level.

  • @CJCA915 One thing about modern day scientist is that they constantly changing their theory of this and that, finding new things out to then change what they thought a few yrs later while the good book stays solid.Never changes its ideas.13 yrs more from now someone will show these guys they were wrong. The land scape is still enough evidence.

  • @TheTrojanabuser In science, a theory is a collection of concepts, including abstractions of observable phenomena expressed as quantifiable properties, together with rules (called scientific laws) that express relationships between observations of such concepts. A scientific theory is constructed to conform to available empirical data about such observations, and is put forth as a principle or body of principles for explaining a class of phenomena.

Scientists change their theories, when new...

  • ... data is put forth, that is backed by multiple experiments, etc.

The "good book" stays the same, because ignorant fucks won't see the evidence against it, so they stick to the same old story.

I'm sorry but their is no evidence for a world flood, period.

One thing you'll realize, is if you do science right, you'll sometimes find out you're wrong. Science isn't a set in stone claim, but unlike the Bible, it can get multiple sources to back up a hypothesis.
