We climbed the Cirque late 70's and early 80's and know this trail well. Thank you so much for the highlights I remember every one. The approach to Big Sandy Lake (we once hiked this portion after midnight under a full moon),North Creek crossing, the long hike up to Jackass past Shaft and Arrowhead Lakes and the magnificent Cirque of the Towers. When the time comes my son (who also climbed with me in the Cirque back when) has consented to spread my ashes on Jackass Pass overlooking the Cirque.
