  • Hey.. you know what people, I was 15 when I got the news of that plane crash... my older brother was literaly devestated upon hearing that news... I was kinda new on the scene but I remember that horrible day !!!!

  • I Will Never Forget That Day. 77' Was Not A Good Year For Some... RIP Freebirds Of The South! What You Created Will Live On In Our Hearts, May God Comfort You For Eternity.

  • I still remember that day. Still bummed.

  • I remember that night. I was leaving the weekly movie at Norton Auditorium at the University of North Alabama. "Tommy," at that time one of the weirdest movies I had seen, had kind of bummed me out. I walked to my car through the cold October rain, turned on the radio and the DJ was telling of the crash. I just turned it off and drove home in silence.

  • such a sad day for family, freinds, fans and music....

  • the day we learned god is an asshole

  • @missionmafia

Kinda Harsh. Regardless God isnt a asshole. God gives mankind free-will to do as you please. He's not got his hand on you guiding your every step or protecting your every move, its up to you to make the right and wrong decisions.

  • @ZX2ManDave god is my favorite character besides Santa Claus. Either way, they're both white bearded men in the clouds.

  • @asdfjkc

And you still are hooked on cartoons i see....or Anime. One in the same. Might as well be watching Bugs Bunny.

  • @ZX2ManDave what does that have to with anything.....??? You think me enjoying Anime speaks volumes about my intelligence level?

  • FVCKIN GASOLINE, MAN

  • @312464ify you dont put dumb shit like that on sad videos like this you dumbfuck,I cried when they said this when I was a kid,I was 5 then

  • =( lost but never to be forgotten!

  • ever notest that all the best musicians die so young for example Jimi Hendrix and lynyrd how wird

  • @MrJarettweber To quote Dennis Leary "Stevie Ray Vaughn is dead...& you can't get Jon Bon Jovi on a helicopter. Get in the F#$%ing copter John!......Yea....go on....there's a hair dresser in there.....". But sometimes it's true when they say "It's better to burn out.....then fade away". Some musicians are better of being remember as young, vibrant & talented. Better off going out on top......unlike some of the fat, bloated, 70yo musicians who still linger on. I don't know.

  • @MrJarettweber Can you even begin to imagine how sad, pitiful & pathetic a fat, bloated, 350lb, wrinkled 75yo Elvis would look? Can you just picture/hear him....all weakened/straining voice, rolling around stage, looking like a walrus in XXXXL sequenced jumpsuit? :-( That is no way to remember him. IMO, Hendrix would not have transitioned/adapted well, musically. Had he lived, I can't even contemplate him switching to Disco in the 70's & New Wave/Synth Pop music in the 80's. Yuck!

  • @gjc82071 true you are right wow realy long explomation or page wow and i see your point i can imation what a 75 year old elvis would look like

  • What an unnecessary tragedy that could have been totally avoided:(

  • RIP :(((

  • Apathy & foolish bravado led them to climb aboard for that last flight. ABSOLUTE SAD PART: Baton Rouge show wasn't until the following night, PLENTY OF TIME for alternate transportation.

  • What a damned tragedy :(

  • The new skynyrd just aint the same

  • @MrCraigary123 EXACTLY!

  • @MrCraigary123 you're right man because the new Skynyrd just sounds like Toby Kieth, It makes us all look like idiots

  • RIP........

  • The end of the road...

  • fire flashes were common problem with those old stile radial engines

  • You know I am sad but after hearing thisand the plane and the shape it was in and they knew. They were just asking for it. One of the engines caught on fire regularly, So much that they joked about it! Damn no wonder. No gas gauge plus running a rich mixture and took another flight without topping the tanks.I fly RC planes and top the tank every time I go up I might do a short flight but still top it offjust in case something happens.I know now what happen.MCA should have gave them a plane!

  • Never wanna hear that report again....

  • @DeathGrindRocker i remember dan rather giving that report only a couple of days after my birthday.no one belived it at first but then that night everybody was talking about the crash it was a very sad night.i havent said to much about the new skynyrd but i have got to say this STOP the only thing your doing is living off what ronnie built STOP gary your rich enough let LS rest all the boys are gone so hang it up stay home count your money and put a muzzle on that wife you got

  • ZZTopKotor can you add any history or Origin/Source of Recording, anything, Thanks

  • Very sad

  • sad
