This is just the beta, so the actual game isn't out yet. I'm not sure if they will release a version for XP or not, I heard they have plans to release a mac version (revolutionary!). If not though, the original Starcraft and its expansion, Starcraft Broodwar, are the same type of play, just a little outdated graphics. You should be able to pick both of them up together at your nearest Wal-Mart for just $20 together, as a package deal. One of the best games of all time!
