I think it would be wonderful to have another child stand up and do what she did again today, same speech or one containing the same message but to ask if the message is truely going to be heard this time or once again seem to fall upon a deaf world of adults. she is an adult now, has she taken up the battle now? i dont know, the world is complicated and as an adult I still feel powerless to change the world. I cannot convince countries not to war. What can any of us do as individuals?

That was a beautiful speech and the only message is for us to stop the lies, stop the war, stop the poverty & starvation, and love eachother!

It is an amazing speech. I'd bet the children from her group wrote it with guidance. She delivered with few stumbles, honest eye contact, emphasis and conviction. That was a speech she meant. Does it matter who wrote the speech; it was sending her message. A smart child who did their homework could write that. Al Gore could have written that. Her speech is global and relevant. It speaks in my children's voices. It speaks in my inner child's voice.
