The fight was boring because of Toney. I mean, he went on and on about his uppercuts and how he won't be taken down easily. And in the fight he landed exactly 0 boxing punches.Where was the uppercut? No, Elie, UFC 118 WAS AWESOME. The Tony-Couture fight proved that arrogance and disrespect for other aspects of martial arts do NOT create a "best figh-tah" Couture did an awesome rare takedown you only see in wrestling matches, BJ-Edgar fight was epic, seeing an awesome performance by the champ, also the Diaz-Irish hand grenade (i forget his name) was EPIC. If you just want to see boxing, watch boxing, if you want the closest thing to a an actual fight, you want MMA.

From an mma perspective, watching Randy Vs Toney was quite exciting for me, just because i always thought it was quite possible for Toney to catch him on the way it, but Randy used a very low single leg takedown. The main event sucked, and the event in general sucked, but i liked the Toney vs Randy fight, just because of the element of not knowing what would happen.

If they got boxer who was a world champion and was younger than 35 years old it would be a different think for UFC they probably wouldn't give the guy a fight because the younger world champion boxer has time on his side to master other aspects of MMA. Also Silva got knocked down by a guy who is not even a striker, Sonnen.
