  • It's SO hard to choose one greatest guitarist of all time but Brian's in the top 5!

  • I love this band, truly I do...but Roger Taylor nicked his drum style from Keith Moon so obviously! Especially the putting of water onto his drum! If anyone sees The Who play at the Rollings Stones Rock n Roll circus, Keith did it in 1968 during A Quick One!...Gah!

  • @lexy67flc It's pretty standard for musicians to mimic the styles of those who came before them or around the same time as them. After all, a good artist borrows, a great artist steals. There's nothing wrong with it. In fact, it's more of a tribute than anything; an appreciation of another's style and talent and a desire to utilize it in their own way. That's what rock's all about!

  • BRIAN MAY IS GOD OF THE GUITAR WORLD

  • please help them find out

  • of course Jimmy Hendrix is a great guitarrist

But Brian is even better, this song is a excellent example

Brian wasn't crazy as Jimmy(he played sometimes with his teeths)

This song is even better than the famous voodoo child in terms of guitar and everything

    Jonh

    Roger

    Brian

    Freddie

    Queen

    FOREVER!!!

  • does any one think brian is better than jimmy hendrix

  • BRIAN MAY IS KING OF THE GUITAR

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh great!!! Brian is so good!!!

  • Freddie Mercury, the King of rock!

and the very group Queen, has been successful! A solo Briana, causes only positive emotions!

  • 最高。最高峰のロックナンバーです。

    何十年経っても色褪せない珠玉のナンバーです。

    神様だと思います。

  • I DEFY any band today to TRY to have 10% of the musicianship, charisma & originality of QUEEN !! .......they cant do it!

  • Totally agree with all of your statements. They are the worlds best rock band even without Freddie.

  • the only ones i can think of in getting somewhere close is muse. but queen still rock for the sheer quality over such a long period of time....some absolute classic songs:-)

  • Well, on 2 of those counts Muse get damn close...they lack the charisma of Queen but else, they do a good job musicianship (especially) and originality wise.

  • Individually, some bands come close to 10% to musicianship, charisma or originality. But all three together simultaneously.... none that I've experienced thus far. Queen is truly one of a kind!

  • I saw this tour at the Santa Monica Civic in 1975. To this day it is one of the best shows I've ever been to . Thank God I shot 3 rolls of film before the security caught me and made me put the camera away. I just recently found those old Kodachrome slides and they are AWESOME!

  • All I can say is LUCKY BASTARD!!!I did see 'em a few times but not then..was too young!!I am jealous.I have an LP of this gig by the way..

  • The best

  • yeah when he sings "-gic in the air" it's great how he changes the pitch

  • I prefer the studio recorded version, but this is still good.

  • es el mejor grupo e rock que jamas abra QUEEN 4EVER I LOVE YOU

  • Oh, I fully agree. Singing '-ic in the air" in a higher register definitely sounds phenomenal. Perfect pitch, I was blown away by that too. Sounds amazing.

  • Queen was way before their time. 34 years ago,,,unbelievable performance.

  • awesome show

  • Smoking good!

  • WOOOHOOOO!!! GO BRIAN!! ROCK ON!! lolz :D

  • QUEEN IS IN A LEAGUE OF ITS OWN.

  • No I realized that Queen find out the heavy metal.

  • QUEEN RULES NICE!!

  • Brian may sabe aprovechar esa guitarra :)es muy buen guitarrista y musico

    Saludos de Chile

  • QUEEN RULES!!ITS ONLY ROCK AND ROLL!!

  • Wow! That takes an unbelievable amount of precision to play with that delay effect!

  • I think Freddie should have left Roger to sing the high parts himself no offence to Freddie coz he is amazin

  • haha Freddie once said he wanted to go to hell cause he thought it'll be fun. He said heaven is boring for him. And i agree.

  • that is pretty depressing.

  • depressing? xD

depressing is being in a place full of boring people that the only thing they do is pray. for eternity!!!! xD

  • Me too :P.

  • One of my favorite songs.Queen is the best band in the world!

  • yay they all playing brighton rock

  • By "his" i mean Brian May of course

  • Possiby the BEST version of this song live ive ever heard, and really showed off his fast fingers on the fretboard which he never really does

  • I agree; this version is seriously awesome and they all look great here, too!

  • Bueno, creo que sólo queda una cosa por decir sobre este video: Amén.

  • I learned to play this a lot better than this on a wooden Bjorn Borg tennis racket in my bedroom in front of the mirror in the early 80's

  • It's a shame not many people dress like freddy lol.

  • 35 years old and this song still kicks so much ass!

  • One of my fav queen tunes!

  • great song amazing solo brian may is a god

  • No, god had overbite and born in zanzibar ;)

  • you're an absolute bastard, and sorry i accidently gave you a thumbs up when i meant thumbs DOWN. really, why did you name yourself "freddiezgay" then come onto this and insult him? go get a life.

  • for sure. so basically all that matters is his sexuality? Whats sad is that when i think of freddie mercury, the immediate words that come to mind are, brilliant, poetic, operatic, versatile, and talented. he has to pick virtually the only negative adjective to disrespect one of the finest musicians/singers/songwriters of all time and on one of queens videos no less? What does he mean, sings like a dying pig? hello? best singer of all time yo???

  • are you answering your own question?

  • by the way, that is not a perm, that is May's actual hair.

  • 4:15 beautiful

  • Queen fans often talk about "Bohemian Rhapsody" or "Another One Bites The Dust" or "We Will Rock You" or the ones that had big sales, but whenever guitar fans talk about Brian May, the first song, and sometimes the only song, they talk about is Brighton Rock.

  • i love love love their early albums so much compared to their later stuff that really put them on the map!

  • Sar this tour in Philly at the Erlanger Theater to this day it is the best most memorable concert I have ever seen and Ihave been to a lot of concerts. The theater sat about 3000 people acoustics were amazing what agreat show early Queen were unbeleiveable.

  • this clip is amaaazing.

even though my pc is so spazzy it will only load 1 minute of it! x[

I like everything queen did, but their earlier stuff is their best by far.

  • Spettacolo....Freddie vive!

  • One day you should listen to "Machine Gun" by Jimi Hendrix. In fact, you should be made to listen to "Machine Gun" on repeat for about three or four days, either for you to gain an appreciation for great guitar or, should you not get it at the end of that, to punish you for your incomparable dimness.

  • A great masterpiece, Brian really rocks in this one, but Roger and John delivers as well - giving freddy a chance to regain his energy during live conserts:)

  • queen toured the states later and i saw this show in cleveland and they really had alot more energy when they played here... having this show as a comparison...

  • Qué mala onda, che

  • Yep, the British pretty much have that whole rock thing covered. Queen lives forever!!

  • I LOVE IT!!!! Haven't heard it for years and found this by accident. Pure rock gods plain and simple and a pleasure to watch.

  • No one quite like Brian May, awesome guitar player.

  • 'All the gay illuminations along the promenade!' They don't write 'em like that anymore!

  • this is perhaps one of brian may's greatest creations

  • love queen but i have to say this is the only song i feel brian may justifies the tag "rock god". The heaviest he gets but sheer class and brilliance.

  • What about "Stone Cold Crazy" and "Tie Your Mother Down"? He wasn't as good as this in either, but he was still brilliant...

  • very nice

  • i mean at setlist you forget it

  • good solo but you forget "jailhouse rock" it was before rock and roll medley

  • i guess it is part of rock and roll medley

  • i love dis soong especially when he goes its good ti know theres still a lot of magic in the air u gotta love QUEEN
