Tim seemed so uncomfortable in his skin, except when he was playing music. Then he would just transcendent and soar over everyone and everything and fly straight into people's hearts. I hope his soul is in a beautiful peaceful place now. <3 Tim
I have to say that I listened to Buckley when I was a very young person...long before most of you were born...and I don't know what official website existed in 1975 when he died.I was born in 1953....and had every album when he died. Did any of you have him as a contemporary music influence? Very nice to look back into a past that you did not even exist in, but you don't really have a clue of what it meant in, say, 1970.He was unique, innovative and passionate.
One of the best live performers ever. The studio stuff is incredible, but the live versions are usually always better. Such a fantastic artist, and an unbelievable singer.
One of the greatest of all time. Probably my favorite vocalist of all time and on of a handfull of 12 string greats...Jeff is very talented as well but my vote is for Tim. Im 27 and have been listening to him for ten years...before I knew of Jeff and love him greatly!
I'm aware there was a bootleg of his final show but where did you ever find it? It's a quirky arrangement but it works.
I should note that verything I've read about Buckley states this final show took place on June 28th rather than June 26th including his official website as well as in Lee Underwood and David Browne's books.
It is shocking how much Jeff looked like his father. Sort of ironic, though. Anyway, great musician! One of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard (Jeff's my favourite, btw).
@rafaelladc Aaargh coming here to comment on his son. Just go away! Tim Buckley was a truly unique artist, with a voice completely out of this world. Show the man some respect. As much as I love Jeff, these comments don't really belong here.

it is also amazing how well ahead of his time he was. The way he walked, played, behaved, such dignity and calm. What an incredible person!

His voice touched, touches und will touch my soul. There are a lot of great voices, but Tim Buckley remains one of the best, so does his son.

I'm wondering if this is actually from Detroit in June 1975. According to a list of bootlegs I've seen, that was the last show that was taped.
