I must say, this made me LOL a little bit. I had to watch that first part like 6 times before I realized that the chestburster was coming out of someone's face, if that was indeed what it was supposed to be. And if so, it is thus a faceburster. Did the makers of this movie watch anything other than the chestburster scene?

Everyone says there were tons of unauthorized italian sequels to american movies, but the only ones I've ever heard of are Zombie and this one. Anyone know any more?

One classic one was a film called SHOCKING DARK (1990) that they released as TERMINATOR 2 (despite the fact it ripped off ALIENS)!

They also did a quick-o sequel to PATRICK called PATRICK LIVES AGAIN.

This movie gets a bad wrap because of its name in my opinion. I actually really enjoyed the film. I thought the cave scenes were creepy, the gore factor was there, and the music was nifty. Just my opinion though.

I was disappointed because there is no really alien lifeform but only bloody guts which split. I found it very amateurish. Even it bears a little incoherence too, I prefer another italian alien's sequel, Alien contamination by Luggi Cozzi, which is like a adventure and S-F comic story.
