  • I now must take my eyeballs out soak them in hand sanitizer and put them back in!

  • i just downloaded this game, but the sounds are weird. how did you get it?

  • If you are using a non-Windows system, or are using Windows 2000 or higher, download DOSBox, and run the game in there.

  • @HeliumStudiosOnline I got this game and am running it on Win7 w/ DOSBox. Sounds are still really weird.

  • I made fun of this game by capturing output from DOSBox of myself writing a dirty message on the game's blackboard!

  • omg this was one of my favorite games as a kid!! me and my sister even pretended to be possums and danced to the music...because i had a cassette tape of it. wow thanks :)

  • Heh, my favorite game was the music game, and today I play a violin. Kinda funny, and for an old game, it sure does seem to have a lot of calendars. Awesome vid. It looks a little different from the one I had though, but maybe it's just me.

  • Holy cheesenips...I remember this game! It was one of my favorites as a young kid!

Did you ever play The Playroom too? I also had that one and I wish there was a video of it.

  • Hey i have this game for pc can anyone help me get it for mac also does anyone have the cassette tape it came with ?id love a copy

  • If you already have it on your PC, you can play it on your Mac. Google "DOSBox", and download the Mac version. Copy the game from your PC to your Mac. Read the DOSBox instructions, and get it to run the game.

  • ahhhh.. i remember this from when i was about 5. thank you SO much for reminding how old technology can still be so much fun.... =]

i got to relive an old memory.. thanks =]

  • brilliant - thank you for helping me relive my fondest of memories!

  • A game made from back in the day when my mind was well out of the gutter!!!

    THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!

Back in those days, my mind wasn't tainted by subliminal messages of sexuality from pop songs!!!

Overpopulation in this world is to blame for those subliminal messages.

  • This game was awesome. We used to have it on our old Tandy DeskMate we bought from Radio Shack back in 1991.

  • You seriously have no idea how fantastically happy it makes me feel, seeing this after all these years. I remember all those little sound effects, the games, the songs, everything.

I've got a Mac, and unfortunately there don't appear to be any versions of this game available for Mac emulators! :-( But this is the next best thing; THANK YOU!!!!

  • hey could i get a copy of your mac version would love to have it on mac i only have it on pc

  • Man the first intro song is so good! Can anybody help me out and supply an MIDI? It would be greatly appreciated.

  • I mean how you HeliumStudiosOnline got it ? and recorded a video of it ??!!!

  • DOSBox has a function to record videos. Have a look in its help files.

Have a look on Google if you want to find this game.

  • I Have DOSBox, but where to get the game ?!

  • I remember this! Where can you download it? does anyone know?

  • this is so cool - i also had wheel of fortune

  • hey! i loved this game as a kid!!!

i downloaded it but the sound isnt playing properly - i think i need a dos emulator - can anyone tell me where i can get one from???

  • Try "DosBox" - it is a DOS emulator made specially for old DOS games.

  • The memories! They had this game at my school! Of course, they couldn't afford speakers so we were stuck with crappy CPU sounds. But still was real fun!

  • oh my god. i loved this game.

  • The animal guessing game thing was the SHIT

  • I remember playing old educational games alright, but my parents let me play DOOM 2, Dark Forces, and Wolf3D as a little kid all throughout the nineties starting from 1995.

  • Oh man... This game... started my addiction to pc games :D

In all seriousness, this is the first computer game I ever remember playing, had some mad fun back in the day.

  • LLLLMMMMAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOO

I ALWAYS TRIED SO HARD TO PISS THEM THE HELL OFF BY DROPPING THE DOLL INTO THEIR POND OUTSIDE XDDDD.... ... but it never worked. >>

  • me too!!!

  • This game brings back fond memories!

In some ways, this game is somewhat funny to play!

  • I used to play this game all the time. It was the reason we got a soundcard.

  • haha awesome i had this game. do u guys remember the text based haunted house one?

  • Does anyone know where to find the songs "Hangin' out at the Treehouse" & "The Rhapsody in Rap" that were in this game?

  • No, but I could have a look at the game files and see if I can extract the songs - if I do, I will upload a video of them, as well as a link to download them. Only problem is that I only remember the "Hangin out at the Treehouse" song - what was the "Rhapsody in Rap" song?

  • That's a rap about the instrument sections in the orchestra- the percussion, the strings, the woodwinds and the brass.

  • And BTW, here's some of the lyrics. "RHAPSODY IN RAP" written by Renee Swanson and Michael J. Ilnicki, as performed by Up the Street Beat (feat. David Casper and Kisha Stafford) KISHA: An alternating band made up of sections- DAVID: Strings, percussion, woodwinds- KISHA: And mention brass. DAVID: What a gas! All four sections groovin' together... KISHA: Monster sounds, (and they're ever much better) (?)- want more! DAVID: Want more! K + D: Move your feet to the beat!
  • Continuing the lyrics: KISHA: That is percussion, it sets the groove. DAVID: Strike it, or shake it, it makes you move. KISHA: The snare drum starts it off: (snare drum sounds) DAVID: Throw bass drum at the sauce: (bass drum sounds) KISHA: Tambourine... gotta shake it mean! DAVID: You know, percussion plays rhythm. KISHA: With a timpani, pitch can be given: (timpani sounds) DAVID: Xylophone, piano- they play the melody, KISHA: 'Cause they strike, and they're all in family.
  • DAVID: So, xylophone mean! (xylophone ditty) KISHA: Tickle that ivory! (piano tune) K + D: So that's how they do what they do what do, Yeah, that's how they do what they do what they do! CHORUS: Now we're gonna have some fun, Learnin' about the orchestra... Now we're gonna have some fun, Learnin' about the orchestra... Callin' out everyone Learnin' about the orchestra... LET'S HIT IT!
  • VERSE 2 KISHA: What's that I hear? (strings play) DAVID: That was the strings, doin' the string thing- KISHA: A violin, viola, cello and bass thing! DAVID: You know, they all have four strings. KISHA: And they always play with some kind of those things(?)... like the violin! (violin plays 7-note ditty) KISHA: More o' viola! (viola plays same) DAVID: Mellow cello! (cello plays same) KISHA: Place the bass! (bass plays same)
  • (continued) DAVID: What about a harp? It's got strings. KISHA: It's got strings, but that ain't the thing. Got no bow, and it goes like this... (harp gliss) K + D: So that's how they do what they do what they do- Yeah, that's how they do what they do what they do! (Repeat Chorus) VERSE 3 (woodwinds play a ditty) KISHA: So the woodwind section got your attention: DAVID: Airy, breathy, and not to mention fine. KISHA: And on time!
  • DAVID: Oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon... KISHA: The flute, it's cute; let's hear its tune! (flute plays same ditty as strings did) DAVID: Clarinet! (clarinet repeats) KISHA: Saxophone, phone home! (sax repeats) DAVID: Bassoon, join the tune! (bassoon repeats) KISHA: I didn't hear the oboe- can it go? DAVID: Sure! (oboe repeats) K + D: So that's how they do what they do what they do- Yeah, that's how they do what they do what they do! (Repeat Chorus)
  • (small ditty from brass) DAVID: The sound is brass, it gives pizzazz. KISHA: Tuba and trumpet, they're also a gas... DAVID: ...with french horn and trombone. K + D: Let's break it down and take it home! Now we're gonna have some fun... KISHA: The tuba! (tuba plays same 7-note ditty) K + D: Now we're gonna have some fun... DAVID: Blow, french horn, blow! (french horn repeats) K + D: Now we're gonna have some fun... KISHA: Trumpet, pump it! (trumpet repeats)
  • K + D: Now we're gonna have some fun...

DAVID: Trombone, take it home! (trombone repeats)

    K + D: Trombone, take it home!

    (Repeat Chorus and fade out)

And that's "Rhapsody in Rap" for ya. Hope this helped, HeliumStudiosOnline!
