@Greenturtlimonstr. seriously? Self important? She's an engineer and has to put up with people critiquing her work daily (don't be just another fool that thinks the worst of people please). Added to that, the fact that engineers are ethical people: as limor has demonstrated by the talk she gave at the open source hardware summit. Thanks ladyada. I hope that my engineering degree will allow me' to do similar work :)
I can't even begin to tell you how obnoxious and dangerous those devices are! In the event of an emergency, people need to be able to get a signal our, or if people are waiting on important news, they need to be able to get it.
What if someone's employer calls and can't get through? How about if a child is in distress and tries calling his parents, who can't get the call because some asshole is self-important enough to use one of these ILLEGAL devices?
Build me one of these I am sick of people with cell phones that think there the only people on the earth. I go to movies there like fireflies. I payed money to see the movie not flashing light show of people cellphones. usually if two or more people are talking at a store they will move out of the way but if there on the cell phone they just sit there talking about there love life. You have to wait for them. People driving with phone stuck to there ear. If they hurt someone no big deal.
I guess people will one day have pace-maker blockers to shut up obnoxious people with pace makers ... hey maybe we can invent invisible tazers (TM) and just taze people who we think are being obnoxious..
