With that you're taking an analog signal and converting it to digital... That won't help your picture quality at all. In fact, even if it was output digital and stayed that way it wouldn't really mean you get a higher quality picture. But every adapter, splitter, and length of cable you use will degrade an analog signal... and digital. Digital just won't lose quality as it loses signal, it tiles and blocks up when it gets bad.
