  • what an inconsiderate cunt for dying. what a selfish twat!

  • When you're born in this world, you're given a ticket to the freak show.

And when you're born in America, you're given a front row seat.

And when you log onto the Internet, you go onstage.

  • In order to be successful we have to be balanced in all forms of nature! We have not developed(expanded) spiritually enough in order to succeed as a race this time.So the time to contract is coming! Lets just hope we develop with a lot more balance next time around.

  • We are ALL fucked because of our ignorance and stupidity! We deserve whatever happens to us! I have a front row seat to the "freak show!"

  • For the dinosaurs it was an astroid. For mankind, it will be religion, politics, and our need to always be right, even to the point of killing our fellow humans. The "lower" animals are more civilized than we are.

  • Me too! FUCK the stupid, ignorant people! Unfortunastely...that's a majority of the worlds population!

  • @slave2tyranny Blame the species (uss, duh) - because we are so fucking complexxed and so full of strange things combined with shit, vomit and a little dash of love. Homo erectus shouldn't had evolved into us, I hate that everything has to be so fucking combined with several answers, and we still experience pain. I think, is the reason for all the shit dripping nausea in the world - because we always tend to blame and throw shit at each others, rather than looking at ourselves, were teh same...

  • An anthropogenic bottleneck imposed by the elite? It doesn't seem too implausible. Theoretically we could live in much greater numbers without a linear consumption pattern...

  • Imagine the world is every body thought like george :( RIP

  • Technology ruined a lot of things.

  • @mmtna Agree with that, hooly shitt! People who adores technology have forgotten that it withdraws our ways of being on par with nature. And because we still allow ourselves to accept taboos and no's and yes' - we are FUCKING DOOMED! :( Sorry man, I love you! Yet I also hate you... the yin and yang will chase each other forever, untill we evolve into something much simpler species, we are packed with a lot of features - like a fucking I pod!

  • Even if there is a God, I believe that God would be way more majestic, beautiful and mysterious than the likes of which we can't even imagine. What Christians make God out to be is just insulting.

  • Comment removed

  • @Afis79 Well that's a good way of thinking. It's easy to get sweped up in the words Carlin sais because as you say, his actualy right about most the things he talks about.

  • And for that, Carlin will always only be a jester in this great story of life. Imagine if people like John Locke, Martin Luther King, Aristotle, or Lennon just sat back with a 'notebook' and watched the human race crumble. The best way for evil to succeed is to have good men do nothing.

  • @DudeRevolution I like this thought.

I like Carlin's thoughts too, but this one is quite sincere.

  • @DudeRevolution he did nothing? youre a nob

  • @DudeRevolution Carlin never aspired to be like those people.

  • WOW George...you read my mind :))

  • 42 people wants a phone that'll make em pancakes and rub their balls.

  • Only the weak believe in god.

  • @johnnymexica ...and the uneducated, and the stupid.

  • @vjwebster Err I think that's a bit of an overstatement. I agree with Carlin when he talks about the pressurizing extremism that has manifested in Christianity, but that doesn't mean that believing in God is only for the uneducated. God can mean many things to many different people, it's the way religion is interpreted that defines the intellectualism of the person.

  • @kimonbees When I say educated (or un-) I mean a real education - one based on reason and science.

Not Faith School. Home Schooling or Pat Robertson's law school.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that in an overwhelmingly religious nation (the likes of which are found elsewhere only in the Muslim world), 93% 0f members of the American Acadamy of Science do not believe in God (and some if not most of the 7% may just not have the guts to "come out")

Maybe they know something you don't.

  • @vjwebster But who are you to judge what ''real'' education is? Just because someone works in the American Academy of Science and has a degree in physics (let's say) doesn't mean they're more educated than someone who works as a journalist or a teacher. Anyway, we're going into a different discussion :P I don't believe in religion, but God to me means love, mother nature, goodness etc. The idea of God isn't bad, it's religion that people fuck up.

  • @kimonbees I'm not saying that god is for the uneducated, i would say the not so smart ;) it is proven the higher the I.Q. the less likely someone believes in god. have faith/belief in that.

  • 42 people were born in the freak show's opening act...

  • "Everybody's got a cell phone that'll make pancakes and rub their balls."

  • 42 people wants a bigger truck

  • the only reason they let women vote and work the wanted to separate the parents from the children and to tax 100% of the people and not 50% provable look it up

  • I got to see carlin in vegas a couple years before he died. His last shows were all about what's going on in the world now. He was right about our species we are a lost cause. Stupid slaves being wiped out by insane criminal owners who may have found the keys to immortality. They don't wanna play nice and share. Interesting how people die right after saying these things hmm? Hale Boggs, Bill Hicks, Kennedy, Bhutto, the list goes on. A century of assassinations at the hands of zionists.

  • Off topic but, this is the first time I've EVER heard George stutter! o_O

  • @J88Wolf Yeah, his standup stuff is really tightly controlled and thought out, and his straight interviews are too genuinely colloquial and honest to have much stuttering and stammering. This seems to be somewhere in between; he's pulling from his material to make straightforward points in a non-performance context, so there's a tension there.

  • Carlin has reached the same conclusion that Mark Twain did when he wrote his "The Mysterious Stranger" near the end of his life. It's a book well worth reading.

  • "...And all the ideas to make everyone happy involved little green pieces of paper, which was odd since the little pieces of paper weren't the ones that were unhappy...." -- Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

"Stop spending money on military spending and you'll have enough to feed every living person, leaving no one behind, many times over, and then we can explore space -- both inner and outer -- forever! In peace. -- Bill Hicks

  • Carlin IS God!

  • The resources to feed everybody,to shelter everybody,to provide electrcity for everybody exist in this world. They do!

But nobody is willing to share, build in that direction because everybody wants easy money or more profit.

    MONEY, WE WANT MOREEE MONEY!

that is what people, politicans or CEOs want.

So much misery for just a little more coin. And we call ourselves intelligent "sigh".

  • Where i can watch the whole interview? Please respond me. :)

  • I hope wherever he is now he can watch our race crumble. R.I.P. George Carlin.

  • i miss you so much george. fuck you for dying. prick.

  • The whole world now a days is just a great horror movie, and america is the Trailer !

  • @Ariel947 He's dead, brother. Screaming up at us.

  • your not alone bro..

I say this: -Those greedy selfish devils ara gonna kill each other just like every other little criminal bunch, but first they gotta have their sickest orgy of lust in the universe.

    -Love your shows!

    PS: -pls dont ever quit

  • anyone to oppose George Carlin is not for the people.. you are blind to the truth. Carlin, Maher and Ron Paul forever <3

  • Goerge i hope u rest in peace or watching us from distance and enjoy your self :D:D That laugh 0:34 is soo fascinating!

  • Comment removed

  • what a quitter

  • If only Carlin lived another 15-20 years to confirm what he thought: America will end the world.

  • "The American Dream is over; the American Nightmare is here-eventually they'll be an American Awakening"

-just something that he would have said..

  • @Flyboy243

I think it went along the lines of: "They call it the American dream because you'd have to be asleep to fucking believe it."

  • @13deku yes, that too.

  • I feel the exact same way!

  • 'The pile of shit is too deep'

    So True!

  • I'll be honest: if there was a mobile phone that rubbed your balls, I would buy it.

  • The solution to societies problem is called The Venus Project created by Jacque Fresco, a close friend of Albert Einstein.

  • He would see thru ALL THE shit going on NOW, too!

  • This man is pure wisdom and awsomness !!!

  • What he's talking about,RT America/The Alyona Show and The Young Turks are talking about it right now. If only he was alive to see the OWS Demonstrations.

  • Well he is watching now from a distance.

This society is fucked up for good

  • The pile of shit is too deep

  • We're still a young species, only barely out of the trees. The question is will be be able to hold off on destroying ourselves long enough so that we can actually meet our true potential. Right now we look pretty doomed, but as we haven't blown ourselves up yet we still have a shot. Carlin was pretty pessimistic, and he had good reason to be, we're assholes as a species, but nothing is set in stone and the future is up to us.

I hope Carlin was wrong and we do make it.

  • @GoongalaGoongala He wasn't pessimistic. He was a realist. He saw and spoke of things as they were, not how he wanted it to be seen.

  • @GoongalaGoongala its up to the owners ;)

  • @GoongalaGoongala i get that some ppl are really pessimistic about stuff in society and all that and their life situation and what they see, but what is really so bad and doomed? i dont live in America, but i can still appriciate the small simple things in life such as nature and love and driving etc. much is just influenced by the media and society and were getting too caught up in it and thinking we know it all, but all in all were just human beings

  • @GoongalaGoongala Agreed, still I get pretty fucking sick and almost self-destructive by hearing people thinking they know WHY we should continue evolving, like they have the answer to perfect species yaddayadda.... as for now, we are to fucking complex - and I think i support nihilism all the way_! :D haha. Good thing we haven't killed ourselves though, there might be hope ;'] It is just that practicalists are pretty fucking narrow minded... you are not... god damnit im high..!

  • @GoongalaGoongala ron paul for president would be a good start

  • Comment removed

  • With all respect to my fellow American mammals... you're not in the first row, you are actually playing in this FREAK SHOW... and the rest of us are slowly entering the show : D

  • a perfect example that religion regresses us is that the ancient greeks did a lot of geographic and scientific inventions and discoveries but the church during the middle ages ignored all of those discoveries and inventions and said those were bogus because they go against everything that god stands for!

  • I never get tired of saying this - George Carlin was a fuckin' genius!

  • we're not all dead yet george, there's still a flicker of light left :)

  • He is a genius in his own write.....and he also enlightened me....

  • George Carlin is my hero! Never afraid to speak the truth. We miss you RIP

  • Bill Hicks and George Carlin -:OWNED:- speaking!

  • DAMMIT I'M GETTIN A NEW TRUCK

  • @toomuchsparetime006 WELL I'M GETTING A TRUCK THAT'S BIGGER THAN YOUR TRUCK!!!

  • This guy is so right. We're given everything, but we throw it all away for money and being manipulated by religious nutjobs. I'm not an atheist, but I wholly agree with a lot of things George Carlin had to say, and firmly believe that he was one of the world's most intelligent and wise human beings to have ever lived.

He doesn't tell you how it should be, he tells you how it is.

    Rest in Peace Mr. Carlin.

  • @SaziSkylion I could not agree more with you... you said exactly what i was thinking, he was a great man and there will never be anyone like him again. I miss him already...

  • @shinobijubei Bill Hicks comes pretty close.

  • @SaziSkylion You have an imaginary friend. Go and learn some Science.

  • @SaziSkylion ,, Dido!! I feel it's too late for us! I've feel I've given up on people,, for now,, it's just about the Math. Simple,, we're sinking. Humans are in too much Psych Debt,,

  • cant decide if i think george carlin or timothy leary more. god i fucking love them both, more than anyone.

  • lol whether carlin knew it or not he kind of found TRUE Christianity in a sense (when it comes to material possessions and the government comments). He just flat out described the main reasons why I absolutly HATE religion, especially Catholicism and its "Prosperity Gospel". Really funny guy. (im a Christain btw)

  • I'm convinced that is Carlin had been born in ancient Greece there would be statues and records of him to this day. A true skeptic.

  • man just check some fact where ever there is video of george carlin only comments what a great guy he is, and Bill O reily only how he sucks. so people are good they are just fucked.

  • I haven't given up on my species, though some may be decrepit, there are innovators and great thinkers that are guiding us into incredible places, there is still hope. Check out the Venus Project.

  • speech made me paranoid as hell lol

  • But after all that shit, humanity is really fucked up with all those religious superstitious deluded IDIOTs that weren't born that way but BECAME that way around the world, like Richard Dawkins said if you were born some place else you'd believe in another superstition.. Fuck it, I know it's impossible to ignore these Christians etc, but let's look at reality: We are so low in free thinking people so let's just fuck it all and do what we want.. I'm gonna play video games...

  • We still have hope, my teacher who's very religious said that it's my generations job to keep the Catholic Church alive and our generation could be the one who could destroy it because that's what's happening...

So let's destroy it for what it has done to us and be 1000 years more advanced already....

Lol I'm referring to Family Guy XD

  • A great man. He will be missed.

  • my god this man was an amazing orator.

  • so irritating to hear how much lies he had to hear about false religion that formed who he became

  • @Alvinloser1 The false cult didn't form George Carlin you retard.. George Carlin became a free thinker at the age of REASON...

  • @migueleato well, that made no sense to my comment, but ok.

  • @Alvinloser1 wait.. what did you say? cuz I didn't get what you were saying, you didn't have any commas or anything can you type it more clear?

  • @migueleato There wasn't supposed to be any commas, but looking at it now it is pretty hazy... I said that it sucks how George had to endure listening to the lies false religion feeds everyone. All I ever hear is the complete nonsense priests and followers of mainstream religion yak about. None of it is ever true and George, being as smart as he was, saw right through it like a lot of us do already.

  • @Alvinloser1 OOOHH, then I'm a retard sorry.

  • A fellow observer from Christmas 2011... Merry X-mas to you George, we miss you brother.

  • The fact that hes dead, proves theres no god. No god in his right mind would throw away this guy.

  • @NarutoEpicness through God's grace he gave us George Carlin - who lived a long, successful life, and his message lives on (via Youtube) beyond his grave. So how is is there no God?

  • @TorontoBoi Yep through gods grade he created a man who publicly humiliated and belittled his grace throughout his entire life, convinceing many people that he didnt even exist. Ether god is a moron for creating him, or he doesnt exist.

  • @NarutoEpicness Agreed, and love you user name by the way. Madara is the best antagonist ever.

  • @CheeksAndNuts your... I mean.

  • @CheeksAndNuts I kind of don't agree with the Madara as the best antagonist ever.. But let's not start an anime conversation in a george carlin video about giving up on our species..

  • I wish I could have had a one on one chat with this man before he checked out. Brilliant.

  • Come back George!

  • His insights are more relevant today than ever before. I would love to hear his views of the recent passing of NDAA!

  • RIP GEORGE CARLIN AND BILL HICKS

  • He said what the fuck he wanted to say, at any given time, and he did it GOOD...

  • (read my comment below before reading this)

Now, my parents/family are the insecure ones making me wanna say ''fuck you, simple minded prick, mind your own business.'' I can't be me and achieve what I want because I'm generally forced to live a normal boring life as a christian following the system. parents wanna turn my life around for THEIR goals. I'm now giving up on MY goals/dreams/life's motto to live in the system so I won't be stressed by my parents. I need replies: Should I do so? O_O

  • @migueleato i will send you a private message

  • @migueleato God for it dude/dudette. I fucking hate strict christians.(AKA Catholics) YOur parents have their own idea for your life. They got it all planned out. You gotta go ahead and say, "fuck you, im making my own life whatever i want it to be." Of course you gotta be careful. Your parents are just trying to do the best they can for you. No matter how fucked up it is, their "plan" for your life is made for you. Try to understand them and comprimise a bit. While still doing your own thing.

  • @NarutoEpicness true...

  • I'm a teen who's goal is to do whatever I want/not living by the system and not caring about rules and police etc, you know what I mean right? I gave up on my species after watching this video and I discovered that I don't want to revolt with others, I just want to start a group with my friends in doing whatever from ending organized religion to being robin hood when it comes to money. BUT, my main problem is: My catholic zombie parents watching my ass and forcing me to be ''normal''. FUCK.

  • George Carlin: The only comedian that makes you think...

  • for him to deny the existence of God makes him the most foolish specie... by now he knows the truth more than any other person.

  • @emalians071 I don't think George completely ruled out the existence of God. He's saying that our belief systems are messed up and intended to control us for their own interests.

  • @emalians071 You can't be sure unless you're dead.

So when you fuckin' die,do try to send me a message from youtube

I'm sure it'll get stuck on "The God Proxy" .

while i wait for your message i'm gonna feel free to drink gamble and hump all i want

And if you don't send the message in two years after your death

I'm gonna find a hooker, dig up your grave and have the hooker give your rotten penis a proper handjob

Wouldn't want you to throw your fuckin' life away for a fuckin' book and have nothing.

  • He was incredibly sharp considering his age, my grandparents could barley remember anything at that age

  • @outsider0100 He had a good brain.

  • george says he "gave up" but he was always out there doing his shows trying to convince you how stupid you are and start acting like a responsible fucking human already

  • I gave up on humanity has well...because humans are just STUPID AND SELFISH BEYOND POSSIBLE CALCULATION.

  • Like Mikek below me has said, if everyone thinks this world is too fucked up to be changed, change wil never happen. I dont really believe in it anymore either, but I'm still willing to fight for it because as a human being, I want it to.

  • @HawK047 I agree with you, while it's impossible to believe that humanity itself will change...we can always do the best to reach a change ourselves, and hope others will change with us.

It's best to fight to the end, even if the cause is dead...because at least we tried.

  • He was a fine comedian, and I love his material, but I've lately come to realize that he was too nihilistic about humanity, throwing in the towel and saying I don't care for my species, doesn't really create or give any solutions to our current wreck. It is not a good attitude to have, in my opinion, to just accept that the world has gone down the shitter and there's nothing you can do about it other than just observe things from the sideline.

  • George Carlin was right on as always.

  • I hate this attitude. Modern society hasn't even crashed and burned once yet. And if it does there will be survivors, and information to rebuild things quite quickly.

Maybe this new beginning will be without retarded religions and an important lesson learned.

  • @DutchNordic I agree with you. People keep saying that the world is going to hell fast in our days , but when were things better? In the 2nd world war , or maybe in the medieval times lol.

What's the point in bitching all the time and living in frustration?

  • whenever i hear someone say "God is going to burn u forever". Im thinking to myself he has one lousy bbq pit.

  • that age old question... if you could go back in time and have a conversation with anyone? its him

  • started with the seven words you cant say on tv. now i am.... i wanna say 20 vidoes in, this man is by far ahead of his time, he is a genious is ways i dont even see yet.

here i was thinking he was just a comedian...... sad life i have lived

  • what he's talking about is verrry deep indeed its saying we fucked a great gift up ,because we wore useing our great gift :P if the brain haddnt evolved to the stage its at now in the way it did things would have been soo much better, but thats how evolution works yeno what they say when yeah fall off the horse just get straight back up again ,there will be a time when humanity will look back on how things wore ran now and think ... if only we knew then what we know now :P

  • So much more than a comedian..just gives me hope for my own personal future and others who truly deserve it

  • @matt274253 me too. I am from slovenia. so you see he made a diference he went interneational. no bullshit with Georgie just: "FUCK YOU! I WILL NOT DO WHAT YOU TELL ME AND HERE IS THE TRUTH! I love this guy!

  • Bless you George, how right you are! RIP.

If the leaders of our sad planet had half of his intelligence I wouldn't be so worried as I am........

  • I feel exactly like what he describes!

"WHO IS JOHN GALT?" - Ayn Rand

  • Now this is, in Carlin's terminology, AMAZING!!

  • Why can't all these Jesus-worshippers convert to George Carlin! Maybe the world wouldn't be as fucked up as it is.

  • I can't give up..

I don't know what it is, but I just can't throw the towel in. This species has squandered its gifts, true. Tarnished the mothering earth from which it sprang, oh too true..

But I just can't give in. The human mind is capable of such beauty, such eloquence, and nowhere else does any of us ever have a hope of finding anything more fulfilling than the richness of this Homo Sapien mosaic. If I give up on us, I give up on myself. And that, I shall never do.

  • @Keinlicht

You've got it all backwards. You shouldn't give up on yourself first before giving up on everyone else. It's more important to know how to save yourself first before the whole world. If everyone would change themselves on an individual level for the better then everything else would fall into place. Too bad it's never the case. Too many people throw away their beautiful minds for the group mentality.

  • @bordertown I see what you're saying, but I think you're missing a critical distinction.

I recognize that this society, this culture is sick to the very core. Indeed I've given up on that long ago, but the species as a whole is a different matter.

In them I see my only hope for life, for meaning, for eternity.. To close up that hope and resign myself to "taking notes", to simply enjoying the carnal ironies of life is to abandon our legacy.

One must hope for the future, or nothing will change.

  • @Keinlicht

But he did have hope, all throughout his life. It's when he reached his twilight years and nobody really listened when he decided to leave it all. Only by sitting on the fence and "taking notes" will people truly realize what's wrong critically. When you remove yourself as a participant of the human race and just have analytic observations will the problems ring clear as a bell. Then you'll know how to change yourself. Imagine if every member of our species did this.

  • i guess some people will be really angry after watching this video, Well, who cares? George obviously doesn't give a fuck :D

  • George is the grandpa I'd actually want to listen to while he rants on for hours at the family dinner table.

  • Nice George, you gave up on your species.

All the idiots that kept paying you millions on tickets to watch you make money talking crap never gave up on you....even if most of the time you were telling the truth.

  • he does talk some truth, but he is wrong about God. If God wouldn't exist, or some power out there let's say-how was the existing energy created? GOD DOES exist.

  • @heyyy185 God does not exist. Santa isn't either.

  • I'm sorry you think that way. Hope 1 day you will make up your mind on that ;)

  • @heyyy185 Just because we don't fully understand how the origins of energy were created doesn't mean it must have been created by a GOD. Every day mathematicians and physicists are making breakthroughs in this field.

  • True,my friend. And every day they come loser to the conlusion, that God or some power like that DOES exist. That is closer to the truth than any doubt,at this point. I'm a christian myself but i do not deny science. And guess what....science is on my side.

  • @heyyy185 They don't come closer to that conclusion. That is irrational thinking. if they were closer then most physicist today wouldn't be atheists. Explain the question Carlin has about why do people pray to a god for things to happen when these same people believe that god already has a plan? Why pray if it is already preordained? To me that seems like more of an excuse for immorality. Why bother if you believe there is a "man in the sky" that controls the outcome of everything?

  • @heyyy185 (ran out of space) Religion has resulted in more war and violence than any one other thing combined. This is the result of most Christians being hypocrites. They don't even follow the good stuff in their bible. If they did things shouldn't be getting worse in the world. This is coming from a person who was raised to believe in the great fairytale. But I grew up and learned that a moral life is not founded on belief but the obvious conclusion that we are all interconnected.

  • First of all: according to the Bible, we should NOT pray to God for things TO HAPPEN! We should be saying thanks for everything we have and cheerish his name. BIG BIG difference. You my friend spit back the same stuff Carlin preaches about christians, wich is very offending, as it is a complete lie. We shouldn't pray for money and power or even health. We are supposed to follow laws and cheersih God's name. And as about science, nothing proves non of ours theories. Its about faith, really.

  • @heyyy185 Ok, well if most people aren't true Christians (as you say) than you shouldn't be offended by what Carlin is saying because he is only speaking the truth about what he sees. Hey, if you can judge others and saying they aren't true Christians then so can he. If you claim to be a "true" Christian make sue you make it your prerogative to point out to others when you see hypocrites. If you did that then maybe people like me would respect you a little bit more.

  • @scerplaya you religious people are equivalent to my broken james brown payback record. you keep rehashing the same arguments over and over and over again. people debunk them hundreds of times and yet you continue reinforcng them.

  • AND as about wars being caused by religion. Wars are not caused because of faith or even religion. Wars are caused by the shallow nature of humans, who do njot follow the laws of God. A good christian does not hate or murder or kill or anything like that. Those wars are caused by ppl who laim to be christians( for example the army of the pope) and other stuff. There are only a few real hristians in the world today, and unfortunately the fake ones cause ppl like Carlin to dispise God.

  • @heyyy185 And furthermore, Carlin doesn't despise GOD silly! He never believed in him.

  • Im not naming anyone to be a hypocrite. Everyone thinks for themsels. But on MY opinion,he learly is missleading ppl by claiming his opinion to be true: God doesn't exist.
