  • there are speakers built into the keyboard right

  • @MrBlakeums No there are not :) keyboard sends data into PC, PC makes the sound.

  • @SquareGameplay Hi there :) Well, I don't know what noise do M-Audio keyboards make, but the CME UF80 does a noise. I'm not used to it, because I'm mainly a piano player, but I guess it's not THAT bad. It doesn't disturb me, I just notice it a little bit :)

  • are the keys making that cheap noise the cheap m-audio does when they're pressed ?

  • I thinking about getting a UF 80 Classic. I think the Classic Version is a newer version of your UF. Can you recommend it? I need a very good keyboard, because I'm a piano player and want a real piano feeling. There are also these Fatar keyboards in the same price region. But the CME seems to have good features and Mod and Pitch Wheel, while for example the Fatar VMK188 has only a strange joystick. But I'm not sure if CME is good quality or just China rubbish.

  • @Martianfan Wow! Honestly, I didn't know about the UF 80 Classic. I'm looking at it now... It looks like they fixed lots of the bugs the UF80 had. If you want a piano feeling, I'd recommend buying a digital piano... CME UF80 (Classic or not) is still a masterkeyboard, MIDI controller ... If you're gonna use it with Cubase or something like that, it's a very good choice, but for piano-only needs there are really better options. :) If I knew that before, I'd buy a digital piano.

  • @mjaniczek

Thanks for your answer. I have a digital piano, but i need something more portable. And a good stage piano ist very expensive and I dont need sounds because I have the Yahama Motif XS Rack.

  • @Martianfan I'm sure you will already have bought a portable piano, because, this is 5 months ago. but i can recommend you the Korg SV1 (with on bord sounds). As a pure midimasterkeyboard, have you every thought about buying a doepfer?

  • @PianoSibelius

Hi, thank you for your response. Yes I bought a masterkeyboard: the Fatar Studio 1100. You can see me using it in my new videos. I know the SV1, I have played it in front of an audience. I liked it, but it was to expensive for me. I have also read many good things about the doepfer. But now I have the Fatar and I like it. I could get it very cheap on ebay.

  • just found a great deal on a digital piano for $400, split into 3 payments also so its very affordable for me, thanks!

  • hey bro

    nice playing man!!

    i like it

but i dont like the cme controllers

i got one and have problems with the knobs, sliders, keys and when i change the octave the keyboard stop working man

i change it for another controller

PD: i got the cme uf 50

u dont have these problems man?

    greetings from chile

  • @xjevxbz Hi, thanks :)

As for the CME controller ... UF80 has different keyboard than UF50, but the knobs and sliders ... sometimes the sliders do weird things, yeah ... :)

My keyboard changes Bank LSB (the instrument played) sometimes - it's a glitch of some sort. All I have to do is click the Enter to get the original instrument back, but still ...

    Well, nothing's perfect :)

If I wanted other keyboard, I'd go straight for Motif. It's not controller, it's expensive, but it's just ... WOW :)

  • @mjaniczek i think that is better buy a midi controller and the motif rack

    thanks for asking man

and sorry for my bad english

  • @mjaniczek and another thing

i solve the problems with the faders and knobs updating the rom memory of the keyboard

    but start to work strange

i will upload a video of the cme uf 50 in two weeks

    bye bro :)
