Extraordinario jabalinista Brian Toledo, tan increible como su lanzamiento es que aun hayan jueces que no sepan medir reglamentariamente la distancia, haciendo centro a 8mt aprox del borde (aproach line), es por que la curva y las marcas referenciales de distancia en el campo se trazan haciendo centro en este punto a 8m del borde. Increible. Pero como dicen aca por mas que no este bien medido la marca excepcional de Toledo supera la inexactitud de la medicion.

Great Throw! but don't they measure it in a strange way? shouldn't the tape be over the mark in the center of the approach? Not that it would make a big difference probably.. Curious to see what he will throw in competition with an 800g javelin!

@santeenl The tape must be in line and not over the white marking on the approach. The same angle have the sectors lines on both side, and for me measuring is OK.

Wow that's so awesome for a 16 year old! I see many people throwing about the same with 700gr and 800gr, wonder what he'll throw in 1 year, probably still 85+ with 800gr and will get that world record too

I think he should be throwing between 76-78 meters or 800 grams, I saw that in his last competition launched nearly 80 feet, but it sure is trained for the Olympics of youth and should be slow to the gym. I think he will overcome youth Record Andreas Thorkildsen. Greetings and good luck.
