a cute movie and nice sentiments, but..... if the Wright Brothers decided to build an airplane based solely on studying birds, we'd all be walking now. What happened to the part on research - why not show these kids in the library reading up on how an airplane works or talking with a science teacher or other adult? I don't think this was an optional piece to exclude from the whole process.
The problem with the real world is that they would've been discouraged and eventually disqualified.
