This shit really happens..i came to a yield sign to make a right turn..I look to see any on coming traffic..and proceeded to turn right on the street..u know what happen next..I got pulled over.The officer said I ran the stop sign...I told him that sign saids yield not stop..he knew I was right but gave me a ticket anyway...but to make a long story short when I went to court he didn't even show up and it was thrown out...because the officer knew he was dead wrong.

If it helps in any way, you could ask the officer if he had a radar gun. Here in Canada, regardless of guilty or not guilty, if you ask the cop that question and he doesn't have one he can't ticket you due to lack of evidence.
Unfortunately, tickets are a conflict of interest. They aren't just to punish/deter bad driving. They yield revenue and that's part of how the police officers are judged. It is in the officer's and cities interest to write tickets, regardless of whether or not people committed the offense. I think most police officers are honest, but your story doesn't surprise me.
