im just starting out and not sure which version to buy. should i go for the fruity edition or save for the producer? automation clips and recorded audio sound nice, but is it worth the extra 100? any feedback would really help.

@JDthunder1524 Try the flstudio demo for free (u cant save)... see what features you need and buy the right version... If you cant afford a particular version I think you can still upgrade to a higher version for a bit more money at a later date, check out their pricing. Automation is a must once you are writing more complex songs, fading volume, turning on/off filters adjusting modulation etc. Complete beginners could live without it for a while...imho....

A few more / different percusion arrangements and or white noise effects,big reverse snares etc etc and just slightly more 'in vouge ' sounds and effects and your on to a top notch track... well done

@krchmarus Sure you can. FL Studio is midi compatible. I've also connected my midi keybord to FL Studio 10 and it works great! I just bought a midi cable (if you haven't got it yet) and then connect the keyboard to the pc, lick on settings in FL Studio and there at "MIDI" you can add the connected midi devices. Quite easy...

Wonderful song perfect sound and brilliance! Actually im stusck in fl 9 till i finish two more songs then ill move to fl 10 cause im not sure how changing the version affects projects... We live in wonderfull days (speaking in reference to music world). With an extention like "FL" the human mind is completely free to create ANYTHING with no limitations, not as it was around 30-40 years ago. Imagine in ten years Fruity Loop going 3D with virtual hand touching pads ect... Amasing!
