@rockymaru there is only one solution for thjis and that is to play this game in xp.i had to reinstall xp to play this game and make sure u install xp32 bit becoz for some reasen this game dont works in windows7 64bit because of that shitty starforce drives that ubisoft put

@Tows10girl No they haven't made a movie of the two thrones. They are planning on it eventually though. The director has claimed that the script for the sequel is already being written and they are working on making it a trilogy depending on the success of the movies.

Sands of time has the best music, Forgotten Sands has nice powers, Warrior Within is the hardest (Which is a good thing in a game), Two Thrones has a good fighting system, and the 2008 Remake had the best graphics. Each had something good to it. I like them all with Two Thrones probably being my favorite for the Dark Prince and the lessons the Prince learns. Finally realizes that his time away from his kingdom has made him selfish and that a Prince should think of the people before himself.

The Persians owned Babylon back then. The Prince is Babylon's Prince. He left it to stop the Dahaka in Warrior Within and he returned to it with Kaileena. Upon doing so, he finds out that the Vizier came back to life because he killed the Dahaka, which resetted the events from the first game, and the Vizier is laying siege on the Prince's kingdom.
This motherfucking game can't run on my fucking PC. I am so very mad 'cause I want to replay this fucking game. A dialog box appears everytime I try running the game, saying my CPU doesn't support it. I have Intel Core i3. How the fuck is this possible? Sorry for this "beautiful" language.
@Rockeymaru More than just the processor fit into the equation. For instance, how's your RAM doing? There's also your video card (or integrated graphics) to take into consideration.
Also, i'm not familiar with i3 as i've used AMD and am now waiting for Ivy Bridge, but I have to ask: is the i3 dual core or quad core? Because this game has had a bad history with dual core processors.
I'm assuming since you get a pop-up about an incompatible CPU, that the game wasn't designed to be handled on later generation CPU's. Intel did, after all, change most of the architecture.
The only other thing I can think of is downloading some updated drivers for your CPU as well as checking online for any hotfixes for Two Thrones. If all else fails, play it on a 775 socket computer instead. Or just get it for consoles.

its been 6 years since ive played this game . part 1, 2, 3. but never did finish 1, and warrior within i never got the chance to get the water sword and fight the dahaka, but now im finish with my college years . its time to finish what I have started I miss being a kid again..! let the game begin! hehehe:D
At least in the two other games, the prince had charism, he was interesting. And come on, the romance with Farah ? I thought it was a remake of SoT...their relationship is so dull in T2T ! The storyline was almost botched ! Anyway...
SoT was excellent, incredible storyline, good gameplay, amazing graphics and such lovely soundtracks...WW, in my opinion, is marked by a will to attract more players. With hot girls, hard rock music, bloody fights and all that stuff...I was kind of disappointed to see that it had become like all those games for virgin boys who are hungry for violence to prove they are cool. T2T, good gameplay and graphics, I loved the Dark Prince for he is the only one that didn't make me wanna sleep.
There is one thing about PoP that really astonishes me.
It doesn't really matter which one you buy. Buy one, buy all. No matter what, you will get a game with such an amazing story. Every single pop game I've ever played, has been awesome, one way or another!
And it is more like the sands of time, than Warrior Within that is way different style and feel, witch is also great on its on. But i prefer this style for this theme and this series. Just for that.

@DubPowahh What's the problem with Sands of Time? It runs great on mine, is it your OS? I use Windows XP. At first I couldn't see anything in SoT because of the Fog bug with Nvidia graphics cards, but a quick change in the ini file fixed that.
This game may have not being so generally well done or as deep as the first two. But is my favorite THEME. I really considerate to be the most epic, simple, strong and active theme. The way they express the duality, that everyone has inside in the real and fantasy life, and combining with story ( witch is not the focus of the game, in my opinion ) gameplay, of course, the image, is so cool. And the events, of course. Is perfect for a movie. They could go a little deep in this game, but is great.

This game took me ages to complete, I went on and off it. I was stuck at that twin boss fight, it was so hard, but I killed them one day and I was so glad!
Played the game non-stop after that and completed the game, there's always a sense of pride when you complete a game that takes you ages!
And when you climb to the top to kill the Vizier, it is so awesome when the Prince stops in mid air!

Ubisoft Montreal confronted Patrice Desilets (the creator of the POP trilogy) and asked him to make another POP game but he instead created the Assassin's Creed series. So it's expected for them to have similarities.
Till now this is the best of the series. Well...Some will say Warrior Within is better... Nah WW graphics are not good...Others will say PoP Prodigy is better... Nah Way to easy and no combat at all... The Forgotten Sands? Hmm Nice gameplay, but the fighting system is f***ed up, no acrobatic kills at all, only magic kills.... So This One remains the best.....Thumbs Up if u AGREE

@Vjol1 till now this is the most suckish one for me. ok sure the story was nice..but without a proper sword it wasn't all that good :/ . since i only had the dagger as a main weapon for a good part of the game it wasn't all that fun to play and that's the most important thing NOT graphics..to make the gamer feel like they make new and powerfull combos..and with the dagger...not that much..except from the part where u get them from behind but that becomes dull after a while. WW remains the best.
I'm gonna assume that you're referring to the PS3 version of Warrior Within having the ending in which the Dahaka fights the Prince. That was also the secret ending in the PS2 version. I'm assuming they turned it into the main and only ending then since it was misleading for many after they played Two Thrones.

Yeah Warrior Within is the hardest and most intense but this one is awesome like the plot and the emotions driven in it. The gameplay is even cooler too. Warrior Within is my fav but this is the best overall game.

@Sebax500 The three you mentioned are the trilogy on the PS2.
A prince of persia game later came out for the PS3 just called "Prince of Persia". It has no connection whatsoever to the PS2 trilogy aside from the title.
Ubisoft recently released Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for the PS3 (and I think for the Xbox 360 as well, not sure though). The events in the Forgotten Sands are supposed to take place in between Sands of Time and Warrior Within.
@adventseph oh? is that so? forgotten sands' events were between SOT and WW? i guess the trilogy's story wasn't destroyed afterall :D

The game is really good, but it was very easy for me. Not saying that im a pro or something, but its really easy. Played Warrior Within and i think that its better and harder then T2T.

@exolynx I'm assuming their reasoning for cutting the extra moments out in the ported versions was because either the Wii and PSP couldn't handle the same game length that the PS2 could. I could be wrong though.
I do not like the trailer but it's really a great game. Perfect oriental ambiente. I love it, all the time I'm running through Babylon's palaces, streets, houses, I stop because I want to look at the beautiful graphic and ambiente I love it.

This game took me ages to complete, I went on and off it. I was stuck at that twin boss fight, it was so hard, but I killed them one day and I was so glad!
Played the game non-stop after that and completed the game, there's always a sense of pride when you complete a game that takes you ages!
And when you climb to the top to kill the Vizier, it is so awesome when the Prince stops in mid air!
Epic :)

Ubisoft Montreal confronted Patrice Desilets (the creator of the POP trilogy) and asked him to make another POP game but he instead created the Assassin's Creed series. So it's expected for them to have similarities.

Till now this is the best of the series. Well...Some will say Warrior Within is better... Nah WW graphics are not good...Others will say PoP Prodigy is better... Nah Way to easy and no combat at all... The Forgotten Sands? Hmm Nice gameplay, but the fighting system is f***ed up, no acrobatic kills at all, only magic kills.... So This One remains the best.....Thumbs Up if u AGREE

@Vjol1 I agree that this is the best, but Warrior Within was definately the hardest. The 2008 one was actually really enjoyable and might be the funnest. I haven't played Forgotten Sands yet so IDK about that one.

@TheEternalSadness yeah... i know ww was good and the storyline was better, but hey t2t was more enjoyable, the graphics look better and i like the dark prince transformation... the only prob about t2t is that it was easy and short... anyway i liked the killing system in t2t, because you can be a silent assassin... in ww they notice you wherever you are, thats why i think ww is better :D.

T2t ... better combat system "for the most part" but is not toned down making the kills less violent and therefore less epic.

@Vjol1 till now this is the most suckish one for me. ok sure the story was nice..but without a proper sword it wasn't all that good :/ . since i only had the dagger as a main weapon for a good part of the game it wasn't all that fun to play and that's the most important thing NOT graphics..to make the gamer feel like they make new and powerfull combos..and with the dagger...not that much..except from the part where u get them from behind but that becomes dull after a while. WW remains the best.

I'm gonna assume that you're referring to the PS3 version of Warrior Within having the ending in which the Dahaka fights the Prince. That was also the secret ending in the PS2 version. I'm assuming they turned it into the main and only ending then since it was misleading for many after they played Two Thrones.

Yeah Warrior Within is the hardest and most intense but this one is awesome like the plot and the emotions driven in it. The gameplay is even cooler too. Warrior Within is my fav but this is the best overall game.

@Sebax500 The three you mentioned are the trilogy on the PS2.
A prince of persia game later came out for the PS3 just called "Prince of Persia". It has no connection whatsoever to the PS2 trilogy aside from the title.
Ubisoft recently released Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for the PS3 (and I think for the Xbox 360 as well, not sure though). The events in the Forgotten Sands are supposed to take place in between Sands of Time and Warrior Within.
And that's pretty much the gist of it.

just loved how T2T ended, i thought forgotten sands was to continue the two thrones' stpry, like you've said POP 2008 has no connection to the trilogy, just really love the prince's tale :D

The game is really good, but it was very easy for me. Not saying that im a pro or something, but its really easy. Played Warrior Within and i think that its better and harder then T2T.

@thunderpeeweea Can't really compare the three POP games since they're all slightly different and thus attract different types of gamers.
Here's a brief summary:
Sands of Time = Introductory game, average in all ways.
Warrior Within = Hardcore grunge, harder and more violent.
Two Thrones = Emotional and Easy, good conclusion.
I personally prefer Two thrones over the other two POP games since it has a very emotion-driven plot but that's just my thing.

@exolynx I'm assuming their reasoning for cutting the extra moments out in the ported versions was because either the Wii and PSP couldn't handle the same game length that the PS2 could. I could be wrong though.

I do not like the trailer but it's really a great game. Perfect oriental ambiente. I love it, all the time I'm running through Babylon's palaces, streets, houses, I stop because I want to look at the beautiful graphic and ambiente I love it.
