hey! im getting this cube soon but im going camping for 2 weks and i was wondering: does this pop a lot?

It doesn't pop a lot, but there's a fine line between perfect tension in the cube and such a lack of tension that it pops all the time. Oh, and don't bother putting the little tabs in the pieces when you put it together.

I enjoyed my type A until I got my type F. It goes around corners just as well (due to the incredibly rounded edges) and it actually pops less and doesn't lock up as easily.

im soo anxious for mine to come but its not type 3..... its the normal original type a and would you mind explaining differences? 5 star

Ummm I think the main difference is that the original type pops less. I got the type 3 mainly because I wanted a fast cube that didn't pop. I appreciate the stars.

it was a type a 3 without the tabs put in

yeah... the tabs aren't really necessary if you get the right tension anyway.
