This game ironically has a great cult classic of people following it. Like the horror genre games of Clock Tower and such. It blows my mind, but yet this game was very influential imo. I love the pc free updated version but it isn't going to beat its impact that it made on the ps1. That is a real gem and it is worth the find.

This is still one of the best ambiant tracks ever composed for a video game in my opinion... You can loop it for hours as it is gentle, non invasive, yet perfectly depicts the post-apocalyptic landscape and it's destroyed beauty.

This brings back so many memories. The final mission of the Beta Campaign is one of my favourite video game moments; the one where you have to escape before the nuke hits. Do you flee with your best units, or use them to protect the others while they escape? Awesome!

this music captured the feeling of that post apocalyptic landscape so well. the desolation and the feeling of that world when all you had were 2 trucks and 4 tanks, watching them slowly bzzzt bzzzt the command centre up. haha, good times.

Oh, God... This just brings me to the very beginning of the game, when you're stuck in the middle of the desert, with a few vehicles and in charge of the Alpha team.

What a game this is! I discovered this gem almost 7 or 8 years ago, in a PS demo disk that only had the "Fast play" mission and a botched tutorial, but it was enough to keep me searching for the retail version, and did I found it...

My family even grew pissed for this game, because it clutched me 24/7.

Oh so many people I knew and know that have the 21st century remake of the game as their dream.

The genius of this game is the leader of men. I have dedicated as much time as I could to the development of WZ for years after its release. The StategyExtreme forums the NEWST, the Pumpkin 2. And that's only a small portion of the great, perpetual fan base of people committed to the prosperity of this,.. not even a game, but an Idea.

I am convinced that its better years are still ahead!

It is by far the best project made in gaming history,absolutely NOTHING can beat the WZ2100 gameplay schematics and we are in 2010. If i had the money i would remake this game graphically because the legend has to live and it has to be re-lived.

Amazing! I still have my old PS1 sitting in my room. I got it out and found Warzone still inside. It brought a tear to my eye loading it up again. Absolutely fantastic game! I will never forget the first time I played it.

I think, the nice game Theme from Warzone21k will describe us the end of the World, but i don´t think so that a reborn of the World come after the Warzone-story.

The game developers of Warzone 2100 had some predictive powers because the game was created before the Afghan war and if you take a look at it, the Scavengers weapons seem like the Taliban fighters!!

So many awesome fights with this game.

Just the sounsd of the Heavy Cannon is so awesome to hear.

Gets better when you have hellstorms and it keeps firing every second.

Assault gun sound is also so great to have buzzing through all the explosions.

Or seeing at rockets getting launched, follow to the target and see it get blasted to smithereens ...

Still play it sometimes even today, it has left such a great impression on me.

This game is by far the greatest game I've ever played, and I'm only 15! I remember when I was 7 or 8 when I started to play wz2100. It was for the ps1 of course. I still have the cd but it's scratched to hell and my ps2 can't read it :( anyways..I love this track, my favorite actually. Hope they do make a remake of the game, with the same music I hope :)

There are so many kids commenting on the three WZ tracks I've put out, it amazes me.

I always thought (back whan I was 17) that the game is not so popular because it's too complex for for people of my age and younger.

It's great too see people are so taken by the legacy of WZ. Only shame is that you havent had a chanse to really play multiplayer.

Well I don't know about it being too complex because I did fine when I was way younger :) But I downloaded wz2100 resurrection yesterday and I love it. It has the same tracks but no cutscenes :(...yeah i wish i could've played too but I wasn't as informed back then as I am now lol...well maybe you and I can play one day..if you want..well nvm..thats if all my hw doesnt get in my way hehe

When I first attempted to play it, I had no idea of the vehicle design system so I got as far as The New Paradigm (sp) with those tiny machine gun, viper, wheeled vehicles, I couldn't get any further of course. A few years later I grasped it and found out just how fantastic the game is. I love it and play it now and again to this day :)

I agree, one of the best strategy games ever... If you want to get this game (full version) you an use the Torrents (I'm sure you heard of them) and you can get the original .iso (Nero Burning Room) files... Then just write the files on any Cd's and play... :)

I played it on PS1. It was really nice. It was my first RTS in my life. This music is so expressing.

In that time when this game released it was so cool, you can design your own tank, it was great.

I can imagine a second episode for this game with better grapics, etc.

Hmm...I've loved(and still love it)because it's a RTS...but the feeling with the music background...it has a better longevity!I don't know how many times I've started(and finished)the last mission just to listen the 2nd mission background music!It's AWESOME...like all the soundtrack!
