Could you please tell me the amounts for hemp and flax in grams if possible since my measurement tool is different im from europe)??.. thx in advance.
@golfpikken - you know, I don't have a conversion for tablespoon of hemp into grams. tablespoon is volume, grams is weight. but I use 2 tablespoons of hempseed :)
@withou2 - sure can, it's going to make the shake even thicker though (and I usually stay away from dairy for the most part - read The China Study) enjoy~
@jt27x3 - sure have, hemp milk actually makes it taste pretty good. oat milk is awesome too.. both are pretty high in calories though. that's why I go with almond milk now. unsweetened version. :)
@torofighter - yep, I use it in my chocolate version of this shake. the people who make the rice protein make a chocolate version too ;) Thanks for the tip though!
@favoritesmoothies - if you don't want such a big shake just cut down the quantities. half the rice protein is good, but remember, even with long toned muscles, they still need protein. :) this shake is awesome no matter the gender.
Hi Matt, Great SHAKE! Just wondering I am from UK and cannot find half the product online at Costco. Especailly the Flax, the amazing flax! Any ideas as to whether could get anything similar from UK? Thanks man auesome stuff, Alex
all you really want to look for is whole grain flax (pre-ground) with an air-tight seal. Once you open it, make sure to keep it fresh in the refrigerator. If you can't get the Flax USA brand, as long as it's whole grin, any brand should do. Make sure it's organic!
Other fun ingredients that you might try sometime: bee pollen, spirulina powder, gogi berries (antioxidant), lecithin (brain food), camu camu powder (vitamin c)
Also, if you feel like making a chocolaty one: banana, lecithin, maca root powder (adaptogenic) and raw cacao beans (antioxidant + high mineral content).
I checked the price in vitacost.com. The price is pretty cheaper at that site than iherb.com.

Have you tried oat milk? or hazelnut milk? I can't do dairy. Is there an advantage to rice protein? Can you or do you have this recipe written down?

can you use something else then blueberrys????????
THxXxgamers 1 year ago
@THxXxgamers - try cherries, it's fantastic. but the reason I eat the blueberries isnt for the taste, but for the anti-oxidants. good luck!

can girls eat this too? i don't want to bulk up (rather be lean), so should i leave out the rice protein?

A friend suggested a few other things as well:
Other fun ingredients that you might try sometime: bee pollen, spirulina powder, gogi berries (antioxidant), lecithin (brain food), camu camu powder (vitamin c)
Also, if you feel like making a chocolaty one: banana, lecithin, maca root powder (adaptogenic) and raw cacao beans (antioxidant + high mineral content).
