are there different foot combinations for spinning on this dvd? I could use some for fancy shawl dance you have to spin fast and use variations and can`t seem to find spinning tricks anywhere

i break down 6 different spin associated idea's (spotting, barrel turn [more/less upper body], pivot turns, cross/step, paddle turn, and spin's ending in lunges. i think for faster speeds you might find this dvd helpful. for footwork i don't vary all that much, but the subtle differences help with my speed.

Honestly, just practice two veils for yourself. It will come to you. Separate the veils, leaving your middle finger free. It takes a lot of room and practice. Learned this from the late great Serena, God rest her soul.

well PJ can correct me if im wrong but for the fast turns i thin she uses the cross step; toe to toe heel to heel that may help you turn faster

hey its katie from raqs britannia,

i agree with you ja-rasa. i cant stop watching her dvd and i showed it to my best friends and they all love it to, one friend said "she looks like she is enveloped in flames" for the performance cut. i hope to see you both again at raqs B, PJ really inspired me to carry on dancing as did your messege in my book.
