When you put on a show like that it's no surprise they won. Their performance takes the music of Alice Cooper, costumes of Gwar and pyrotechnics of Rammstein, stuff it all in a blender and there's Lordi. That and it's one of the few rock or metal songs to ever appear in Eurovision so naturally it had to win. There's so much poppy stuff in Eurovision that rock like this would just blow the audience away.
