First: nick plays the BASS guitar

Second: Some awesome guitar players play with their guitar strap really high, like Tom Morello, or the guitarrist from Living Colour, for example.

Third: He plays lead guitar because it's easier to play and sing, jamie plays mostly fills that are easy to play, but really hard to play them and sing.

Fourth: This is INDIE ROCK, not virtuoso music, you won't find finger tapping solos here, cause that's the way the want it to be, not because they can't.

i didnt think teddy picker was that hard...it sounded hard when i decided to try it but it only took me like a week just becaue i had to figure out the guitar parts and the words but i never really struggled

It was difficult though. My brother taught me the guitar part and I already knew the words but it took me a bit of practice to be able to say, "despair up to the point where they provoke....etc"

I am an american but I absolutely love the music the arctic monkeys make.. along with oasis, the zutons, fratellis, kaiser cheifs, razorlight, wombats ETC. I think its ashame that americans over here dont appreciate the kind of music that is being produced over in europe.
