I also use windows moviemaker to edit as it doesn't hog system resources/processor time and feels quite intuitive to use. Worth having a look on the moviemaker forum as there's many free effects filters etc available.
@TK42138 thanks TK!...I don't use Windows Movie Maker anymore, it used to crash a lot (might just have been my computer rather than because of the program?) anyway I now use Adobe Premiere Elements 4 which is great in lots of ways but has a few vey annoying things about it...feels like the people who designed it can't have acually used it, unless only for very simple things!!!
Belinda.you and your cuz rock! great production,...makes me wanna find sombody to jam with! ..........LOL....flowers are awesome...I'm gonna be picking your brain for help, someday;-) a pioneer, you are...
thanks!...my cousin recorded her tracks with an 8 track thing she has and sent them to me. I did mine using a little Alesis mixer that plugs into the computer usb. I then mixed it using Sony Acid pro 7....I was quite pleased with the result as I'm still working out how to use it!! For the video I used Adobe Premiere Elements 4...what do you use for video editing?.....Laurie is sounding keen on trying the green screen thing : -)
I just use Windows Movie Maker - I tried Sony Vegas which my girlfriend Lesley (LeSaMilano) uses but didn't get on with it. I can chromakey with it now as I found some free add-ons. Sometimes she has tinkered with my audio tracs in Adobe when they need cleaning up a bit, though for blues stuff a dirty sound sometimes works bes as long as you can hear the words.
Just borrowed a bass amp from nephew and I hoping I can record it to sound as punchy as it does in real life!
oh wow I'm amazed at what you've done with windows movie maker!!....doh I'm getting confused, I was thinking your girlfriend was Laurie, not Lesley....I've got muddled up like that before with CB nation people!!....yeah blues can sometimes sound best dirty : -)...good luck recording with the bass amp!
